Or G25manage, which works for G25 imo the same way Clutch and 900 worked, just LFS got problem to set clutch properly... neveretheless.. until it's so slow in wine 30-40fps single car, whole LFS gaming in linux is pointless
Go for mouse, place shift up/down on mouse buttons, learn to steer with it, throttle/brake W/S side-look Q/E that's all you need
I see many fast people on mouse VERY fast.. give it few days and you'll like it more than keyboard
A little bit offtopic, but I has tried G25 on ubuntu with 2.6.31-5 kernel and I had only 2 bugs.
Impossible to get properly work clutch pedal (but I could see the moving axis while pushing the pedal) and wheel was somehow still in center position until +-45° (I mean like turning \ | / does nothing), so some kind of big dead zone. Shifter worked and FFB was somehow weird, but it was there
900° worked too
About that shadow testing..
I am getting +2-5 fps using test shadows always, using 11 AIs
Fresh 9.10A3 amd64 installation,
Nvidia Geforce Go 7300
drivers 185.18.14-0ubuntu3
If you're afraid of going into "hard racing" and want to try some racing in "lower level" league, follow my signature
So called "Absolute Beginners" can help you (few of them race in OneGP )
I'll try to join, but I am very slow and without any practice. Maybe I'll get some other racers too with me
err.. so it's on Wednesday or Thursday? :-/
Well.. I had this problem in race:
FO8 @ KY2:
Lap 38 or so I am going to pits. tire change is set to "wear > 30%" It changed only FR tire, so I thought OK, it should hold to the end of race (62 laps). In lap 51 remaining tires got cold ;( I hardly doubt they will last more then 10 laps. (and I though, great 70% I am off the water :schwitz But no.
Can anyone explain me, how does this system works? I thought I know how, but after today's race, I am confused very much.
after 3 laps in pits:
If tire wear > 30% tire is not changed..
=> tire will last more then 6laps, right? (maybe even 7)
It happens sometimes, when you "accidentaly" got disconnected and server thinks you're still online for a quite short period of a time. "Technically" you are still on server... so just wait a few seconds and reconnect
I think you have finished 2 races so far. Take a look on website Open League statistics and you'll see for yourself
Hope to see you soon in le mans league.. and many others too
"I would like to join this event>>here (SO6/FBM) if possible "
When he stays for longer period (season or so) I have no protest, but if only this one race, I say no... We saw that many times... new guy, fast in 1 event.. accidentally crash some other ppl, ruin they races and no more show up.....
