Am I crazy? But isn’t this supposed to be RWD?

The goods: great engine sound and power to weight ratio. Interior is nice and with just minor adjustments to setup it drift well

The bad: needs more sidewall on tires and it will have more control and more speed specially when tires are worn after first lap. Steering feels twitchy but that’s because of 60 degrees lock. What are you crazy 500 HP 2500 lbs and those skinny tires? No sidewalk, no body mass? I’m not a huge fan of the looks on the outside either but that’s just my taste.

Hey idk what you done but the car now easily wants to roll over, maybe down force is wrong or the center of gravity is too high up. I was driving it last night and the car was rolling over taking sharp turns. Also the car is rear engine bias and it tips forward on jumps.

Just imagine drifting for ever and ever until you crash!

I agree maybe have a setting to turn of tire wear completely allowed by server host

Quote from Scawen :

One thing I am still disturbed about is engine creators who do not notice the "CLIPPING" red message in the top corner, while in the engine editor. That message means "SOMETHING IS WRONG" but apparently a lot of people think that a bright red message in capitals means they are doing the right thing. Big Eye

Everyone else, please, if you get in a mod and you go in the engine editor and you see CLIPPING nearly all the time, please go and give that mod a one-star rating for engine sound. We'll need to get the message out there that engine sounds should not clip (well I'd say they can clip a tiny bit, occasionally).

Hahaha!!!

Yes! Some people think because it’s loud it sounds good. But in fact no they need to tune engine sound with default audio options. Minimal clipping in things like revving the engine in the pits where it echoes or echoes from driving by under pass/tunnel. Or at extreme speeds because wind noise is extreme.

I still believe the anti clipping option all it does it turn the volume down. If the engine noise is extremely clipping with anti clipping off. With anti clipping on it still clips but at lower volume.

Description says 2.5 liter and it’s a 3.6L????

I love the concept of this! I always said I think there should be cup version of the base model cars, stock body with stripped interior roll cage and minor exterior changes.

I think the engine could use some work there’s 1200 rpm’s that don’t do anything red line might as well be 8,000 not 8,600. I think the car would benefit with a 200HP and 150 FTLbs torque

Sound like I’m going to rework it a bit more! Thanks for the videos and links guys! New redline will be 8500 rpm’s and will retune the sound so it stays that deep tone at that high rpm’s

Cant send files in the Direct message so here. Still no proper sound will need to tweak that, it sound good below 4000 rpms anything above that and it sounds like a rotary or an F1 too loud.

drove the mod, i really like the suspension, and the over all drive train.

needs more steering angle maybe 36 degrees. default setup has too much brake bias. interior i know it needs work, but i cant see speedometer over the steering wheel

That might mess with the power curve and the sound.(higher RPM higher pitch) Those Dino V6 didn’t rev up that high

Issue in the pits with car modeling
curb weight is too high should be 1,430 kg (3,153 lb) not 3600 lb
suspension too soft

Quote from Mr. Apex :Hey I hope you do not consider this offtopic:

For users who do not yet have mastered the LFS Editor, is it possible to make a private copy of a mod for offline use and swap in another engine?

Is it as simple as renaming the engine file and place it in the corresponding car folder under Mods?

I mean this is how I test my engines. I make ModFind version of an LFS car save it hit test mod and in single player there is test tab in the mods section in the garage

Yeah don’t do no 315 that’s crazy for power to weight ratio. 400 Hp with 2800 pounds 275-285 max rear tires if it was real life I would do 265 but that’s not enough grip in LFS

Quote from scania :I tried it, very good!! I think the base can be louder/ thicker(don't know how to describe it Tongue)
