Quote from BlueFlame :Wow, who gives a gays handbag about that BMW lol.

People see a 3 series and get hard over it.

XCNuse's Mazda 3 blows that POS BMW out of the water completely, cos it doesn't look like a fagmobile.

Soo after everyone's commented I went and bought a BMW, do you guys like it?

Quote from Derv94 :haha snap i just picked this up 3 days ago after my mx5 threw a rod

Thought I recognised you on the Suzuki owners clubs

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :I've seen a lot of these things round here recently. Are they as fun to chuck around as they look? Or is it just a shopping trolley with factory fit rice?

They are very underrated cars, even in stock form.

Woah this is just looking better and better, but why does Michael's voice sound like a child? Also thinking why does it look like they haven't used the LA Noire face technology?

Definitely need to upgrade my PC!

Quote from Jakg :They were a (£375) optional extra from the factory. It's blue, same as the car. It's not a perfect colour match but I don't think it's actually possible to match a metallic paint with lacquer on metal / plastic to a piece of leather! It looks really good in the car at least (i.e. it goes really well with my blue dash, which is an exact match of my exterior paint).

There is a "blue" alcantara seat I could get but they really don't match colour wise and are very rare. I also can't really justify £200 on seats...

I did snap a (slightly!) better pic today

I swapped the steering wheel for a less worn OEM one, fed up of touching some manky old one every day

And the seats

Excuse the terrible phone pics...

Quote from FlyingBus :im more into fun than straight line speed, besides its still faster and more fun than a civic.

strap a good turbo kit on for around 250 hp and you will fly.

Faster and more fun?

Was finally able to order a Nexus 4! Recieved it two days after ordering, not bad considering it was 1-2 week delivery.

Quote from Bose321 :The pedals have an inversion kit I believe. Not sure how you inverted them now, but it should be possible to hang them or whatever.

However the quick-release system on the CSW is totally awesome, I barely use it because I never drive formula cars and I always keep my BMW rim on. This might change if they make more rims though.

And if you don't like the wheel and pedals you can always return them, they're not that difficult in that.

The kit is 'optional' so I'd have to buy it, yeah I'd love to get the CSW but I can't justify that much money on it lol

That's cool, I'd like to just try one really but I don't know anyone who has one.

Quote from Bose321 :You pretty much said it yourself. It's smoother and stronger. It does look kinda cheap, but you will forget that when you use it. I think the pedals will also be a HUGE improvement, even if you think "they're just pedals".

I can't judge for you, but it's a nice price I think. What might be cool is the Fanaleds plugin I made for the wheels (on the PC) which enables the display for games.

Thanks for the quick reply Bose

Yeah I think you may be right, I would prefer it if they made it so you could change the wheel (like the Clubsport)

The CSR pedals don't have a load cell unfortunately, my G25 pedals are inverted so they are rather nice to use.

I would definitely use your application though
Fanatec CSR Wheel + Pedals Advice

So I'm looking at getting a Fanatec CSR wheel (not willing to spend over £400 on the Elite or the Clubsport!)

I currently have a G25 which I don't really have a problem with other than it being noisy and the pedals are spiking, I would like the CSR so I can use it on the Xbox 360 aswell.

I'd be after the bundle,

Forza Motorsport CSR wheel value pack

CSR Pedals EU, Forza Motorsport CSR Wheel EU.

I'll also need the shifters and I think I'll get the CSR / CSR Elite Pedal inversion kit too.

Can anyone give me a short review on this? In comparison to the G25.

I know the CSR is smoother and has better FFB but I think it looks rather cheap?

Thanks!

Quote from tbofram :What price were you thinking for the new one? Christmas gift ideas ftw

Not too sure tbh, dunno what they are really worth now.

I'd guess that the postage would be about £15? I'll have to find out a price and let you know.

Unless you'd like to make a reasonable offer?

Logitech Driving Force Pro's for sale! UK

I have three Logitech Driving Force Pro's that I would like to sell, just getting in the way now.

Two have been used, I'm not sure how bad they are as I haven't used them in a a while but I will check them and get pictures of them.. iirc one sets pedals are funny (not 100% sure)

One is brand new in box and iirc it has never been opened. I will open it to test it all works if anyone is interested..

Don't really know a price but it will be UK only - I'm guessing postage will cost at least £10-15?

Soo if anyone is interested in any of them post up with an offer - I will get a fixed price sorted out once I get the pictures and have tested them.

I know everyone will know what it looks like, but for those who may not, here is a picture.

If no one is interested they will all go on eBay.

Quote from JJ72 :Me having a go with a narrower and deeper page structure.

Added Ipad versions, one more minimal and one containing more functions.

I like the design but I just don't think it suits a racing simulator, I think it's just a little bit too simple.

I prefer the iPad version layout wise as it looks like it could hold more information on one page.
PC Upgrade

So I will be looking to upgrade my PC in a few months, I know the prices will change by then but I just wanted to see what sort of system I would be looking at.

Budget wise is around £300-400, I will be keeping my SSD, HDD, PSU (Coolermaster 750w), GPU's (2x GTX260 216P), Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers and Monitor.

So basically all I need is a new Motherboard, CPU, CPU Cooler, RAM and most likely a new case. Eventually I'd upgrade the GPU's.

I've been looking at i5 3570K's and I would ideally want 8 GB RAM.

I have seen this Motherboard - ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 Intel Z77

http://www.scan.co.uk/products ... x16%29-d-sub-dvi-d-hdmi-a

But does anyone have any recommendations? (SLI and decent overclocking abilities please)

I'm sure this RAM will be good enough? any recommendations?

http://www.scan.co.uk/products ... -ecc-cas-9-9-9-24-xmp-15v

Cooler wise I currently have a Coolermaster 212 Plus but that won't fit on a 1155 Socket, so I'd either upgrade to their EVO version which does or maybe go for the water cooling ones?

If anyone could recommend a cheap but good case aswell

The PC would be mainly used for gaming but the odd photoshop/video editing too.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link,

I've read
Quote :Trim works fine, you just have to un-install the nvidia storage controller drivers, and then install the default Microsoft ones.

Quote :On my 680i board I get 252 mbytes/sec reads and 242 mbytes/sec writes, benched using ATTO. It's a Sandforce based SSD. Well worth the upgrade even without AHCI.

As you can see in the image above I have used Microsoft drivers but it still is just as slow.

I still don't understand why it's so slow? My brother has the same SSD on his motherboard which also doesn't have AHCI but his runs at 230 MB/s, is it just my motherboard?

Edit - I also get this,

I managed to get it to use the Microsoft Drivers - seems even worse lol

I'm going to give the above a try now.

I've read to do this?

Put it on that boards sata2 slot while set to raidmode. That will effectively run a single drive in AHCI mode. Will need to first do the IDE to AHCI reg hack before changing sata modes in the bios like that though.

Quote from Flame CZE :Since people started posting design mockups, I’ll publish mine. It’s the one I had been working on for Victor before he made this idea public.

I post it, so people can eventually take some inspiration from that. Also, I didn’t want the design to just sit in my folder without any people seeing it.

That looks amazing, could you maybe try a lighter coloured theme too if possible?
