Quote from choupolo :Thanks!

Yeah, I've watched some replays on youtube of 41s laps and it was clear they were using a faster setup. Like I said gears too long by default for a start. You only just get into 6th before the start finish line. But it'll be the same for everyone so I'm not complaining! :P

More practice and I'll be back!

If you can, drop the starting fuel to like 5%, did a 43.36 on default setup - took the chicane in 5th and lifted a little.

Quote from Matrixi :I went for the 16GB white chinese model too, because they were in stock here and easily available. Couldn't be bothered to go through with the whole invite nonsense.

Might get a 64GB international version later if they ever drop the invite system and decide to add support for 800 MHz LTE.

Yeah that's why I went for the Chinese model, oh well I'll gift it to my brother.

Quote from Boris Lozac :So you all went for that hype eh... You know that, in the end, it's a chinese phone?

Of course but ordering direct from OnePlus for the international model gets you true warranty (although people are having issues with RMA's :razz, it's still one of the best phones for the price!

Quote from Matrixi :
Shipped out today, can't wait.

Also ordered that, twice.. Bought a Silk White 16GB Chinese model as I didn't have a invite (last week), received invite today so ordered a Sandstone Black 64GB International model.

Both awaiting shipment, I hope the International model is shipped from the UK Warehouse...

Quote from NitroNitrous :I have absolutely everything in default, I have installed the Thrustmasters drivers and software but never ever launched it.

Well you should haha, turn off Spring and Damper forces as they are not needed as Matrixi said

Quote from NitroNitrous :I do. I just loaded the default ingame profile and feels perfect to me

What are your profiler settings? It is so heavy for me and the cars aren't controllable when sliding..

I've reinstalled my PC and didn't back up the settings

Does anyone here use a Thrustmaster T500RS wheel? Can't get the FFB to feel nice, profiler and ingame settings would be great

Quote from Fordman :HI Hardcore People.

Just wondering, what performance difference could I expect. Here is the base system:

Z77 Pro Motherboard
16GB DDR Matched 1600 Memory
1TB Sata Drive
Geforce GTX 750ti 2GB

Now I will be replacing an I3-2100@3.3ghz with an I5-2400@3.1ghz. I know the latter runs Quad Core, and my current runs dual core, but will I see a significant difference, mostly in gaming?

Oh, it was a freebie

Regards

Fordie

I used to run a i5-2400@3.7Ghz, games ran really well considering it's not a top CPU - that was with a GTX770.

You'll definitely notice a boost in games that utilise four cores

Started playing this again with my brother since the standalone came out - really enjoying it more even if it is alpha with less features.. Experienced a bug where some guy was shown 3 times and by killing him he had 3 times the loot

Best way to get items is to go to Balota airfield and loot the barracks and tents.. towns seem best for water and food - a little tip is to find a water fountain and spam middle mouse until it says "I'm full", same goes for eating! Found it out the hard way when I died of dehydration on my last character..

Quote from MattsterGT :Hey.

So. I'm a pretty major android noob as far as firmware is concerned...

So, I recently purchased not one, but two cheap android ice cream sandwich (4.0.3) tablets from CPC Farnell.

I've stumbled across a major issue-I cannot access any google based app, including the outdated version-as in, no play store (giggity), no youtube, no email and most importantly-no google chrome.

I've tried installing them from the microSD card-no luck.
I've downloaded a program called 'Arctools' (v0.75) and followed a youtube video showing a method of fixing it.

It was "Arnova 7 G3 (basically this things little brother) Goggle Play Store and Apps Install" (Which was said to fix the 10b's problem). I downloaded the program, as the video said-and then the installation failed with the error messages of "Error 28: Cannot create temporary directory." followed immediately by "Error 20: File copy failed"

I think the error with ArcTools is that it doesn't have 'superuser' permissions? (I'm assuming that's a linux thing-like root). How do I give it superuser.

So. Can somebody guide of how to either A) flash it or B) fix the errors.

If you need it, the firmware version is 4.0.3 Kernel: 3.0.8+ root@sc-development-android #295? build number is rk29sdk-eng 4.0.3 IML74K eng.root.20121019.161120 test-keys

The model is AN10BG2I

Thanks guys.
-Matt

Quote from anttt69 :any 540 hobby motor will do they are 10 a penny on ebay

tamiya & kyosho 1/10 electric cars have them as stock

I don't think that's true, when I thought my motors burnt out (was the mosfets + build up on the motors dropping their resistance) I tried a 540 Tamiya 'Tin Can' and the force was on/off and juddery.. the G25 motor's are Johnsons and are slightly longer iirc.

I think you should check out this guide, I think it's your mosfets not the motors
