Thanks for your review.
If buy it, it would be like doing a big gift to me. The gt3rs seems much better at least for the pedal and that would be the main point.
First I need a different organisation to have time to play and then I will need around 300euros, otherwise I can play a bit with my dying momo (pedals are loosing calibration, having some random brake on the straight is not fun). Maybe I will tweak my pedals first.
If I buy so far my choice is for fanatec.

Thanks for the report.
Keep up, maths can suck big time we all know. I really hope you find out before being bold!

You dont need to pilot like schumi to buy a porsche or ferrari. You just need the money and desire.

May be try their brazilian sales location, act as if you were a company and request two samples. It often work on electronic parts.

May be you can find a talented guy around the corner that can repair electrical motors for cheap. This kind of dude nearly disappeared in most advanced country (no offence here), but maybe there are still some remaining in Chile. Wiring (I mean coil winding) and (carbon) brush are two things that can die and that can be repaired.
Is there any trace of part number onb the motor itself?
What wheel and pedals can you get for 300euros?

Maybe with new physic it would be nice to switch physic to 120HZ for better lcd compatibility...
Fuel so far is just a mass, in fact it is liquid and physic is more complex (try to turn a hard egg and a crude one).
Maybe separate ai gfx and physic on different cores...

Go for it. You will have good online servers. S2 will feel cheaper when you put 12 more.

Quote from Bob Smith :I'm only aware of one game that uses more than a simple line collision for wheel collision detection and positioning. I had the exact same bug when pulling wheelies on the bikes in the game I'm working on but this was easily fixed by changing the maths that position the wheel after the line collision position has been obtained. I just needed to rethink the correct vector and it looks like LFS is doing the exact same mistake we used to.

If you have simple correction dont hesitate to send an email to Scawen!

It is sounding like good news. It was for sure a very hard bet to go rewrite all the tire physic stuff. It is good that you see the light at the end of the tunnel and that you have been working on the right direction (I hope I can trust the testers).
Thanks for the good work.

The pedals looks good. But I hate the way they give numbers. If the drivers sucks they need to be below 50! To obtain correctnumber maybe do (N-50)X2

It looks you have something running in background. I would check carefully the system. The only strange thing is that it does not appear on other games...

At monaco gp2 are about 4% slower than f1, yes it is a huge difference...

LFS is good because it is finely tweaked, tuned, equilibrated, well coded. There is already a bunch of combination, not yet all type of cars but a good bunch. And as long as setup are widely open there is no need to add more cars. Just let the Devs work please.

edit: now that the first post has been edited, yes controlled new tracks could be a plus, even if, I think it will not happen.

That is some cool news. Waiting for internet for private use is a pain. But for a professionnal it is even worse...

Old ABS at least will perform with around the same braking distance as locked wheel, a perfect braking without locking remaining a bit better. Now there are abs working better, the ones used in F1 were not so bad even if it felt strange to some drivers (pedal to the metal and dont think!).
Take a normal car on a gravel road, and you see how much it can suck...
