Thanks for the report!
I hope you don't get too many roadblock on the remaining stuff!
And thanks for the good work and the test patches they are already making improvement!
When I scroll down server list there is too much x sensitivity.
In VR it is very hard to scroll all the way down in one movement.
To reproduce in VR. Grab the slider maintain VR click and move the head down, if not perfectly Vertical you have to repeat 2 or 3 time.
You can also experiment with mouse but it is easier to go straight.
I think less x sensitivity after grabbing the slider should help a lot.
Within LFS in car menu you can generate template and start with that.
Then you can work with any tool you like. The skin name start should be the same as LFS name.
I do most of my skins with inkscape. I set a 2048*2048 workspace work with that and export directly into lfs\data\skins . At the same time I have LFS running car viewer and hit reload everytime I overwrite the skin. It is the fastest way I have found to quickly see my changes.
I sometimes use Gimp also but mainly for finish like adding shadows...
Other than that it is a huge open question. Go start and try for yourself!
Installed D24 no problem so far.
About heave spring and better suspension for single seater, and bump stops, yes it will be a must have! Once ride height got better having advanced undertray aero/aeromap would be great too. The best timing to implement well I let that to you...

On most race car the upper triangle is smaller than the lower like in your second drawing. The anchor point are usually V shaped like a hull in a boat. The main effect is to add more negative camber on compression. The opposite might exist but I don't know any example.
Sometimes you can have two similar wishbones like in your first drawing. No camber change on compression.
IRL the 3d effect with the steering linkage change wheel steering angle depending on compression usually it is unwanted effect. I don't think LFS properly get that.
No you are not stupid! You are doing a lot with not much!
Well I have driven worn put clutches and no matter how gentle you are it slips like crazy. This car is very sensible to clutch overheating that explain you are suffering!
Yep fuel calculations are crucial and hard to do well being single pilot.
Detect and monitor does help, by showing remaining laps, fuel, fuel by laps but having it directly available would be great.
What might be nice to have: laps remaining with last lap consumption. Laps remaining with average consumption.
Energy used Last lap, average, min/max.
