Just beginner time.. if you keep practicing you gain speed time after time. allso the setup you use is biggest problem i think, never do [Default] or hard track, better load setup somewhere or ask someone to send it at online. You can always make chances the set you find good for you and comparing it to other sets...
wr sets are made for hotlaps so they can last only 1-2 laps then tyres are gone.. but anyway biggest improvement you can do is to compare sets and test yourself how car behafiour chance while you put lower suspension or different differential...

Hi ! I dont know what you mean by cluster, but i quess it is speedometer stuff? if yes then you go = Options-> Display -> Virtual steering gauge. This only removes it to corner, however you can always load LFS lazy https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/85771-LFSLazy

As you see i use custom view with 66 field of view, good things about this is compared to bigger vief is that you loose sense of speed this allows you to go apex much better and you see it more clear. when i was with wheel i turn off virtual wheel and virtual hands. this way it was super realistick...

moving wheel that little doesnt tell yet is it same angle than ingame. you must move it to end to end and if you notice any deadzone then its not same level. deadzone not the correct word, i mean if your real wheel turns while your ingame wheel doesnt then its wrong..
But adjusting that "wheel turn compensation" and "wheel turn" degrees should do the trick.

k_madam just hallusinate. no worries ;p
two things=
First= shift + o go "misc" then look "analogue steer smooth" you put this to 0.00
Second= shift+ o go " controlls" you click wheel/joystick, then you see "wheel turn compensation" in the 2nd up. this value should be 0.00. Chanching this value makes wheel turn more/less ingame than irl wheel. so 0,00 if you want wheel go same as screen...
and wheel turn in shift + o must be always 720 never chance this, only at windows.

I was visitin some place and saw game was lfs. No logo anywhere.. Sure logo can be "somewhere" tiny text etc
What he do is that he make business this game by adverdicing it by simulator while hiding what game it is... Which is bad idea, same kind of activity is going by watching server list...

you came from aracde to sim, its hard and frustrating for first, but if you have willing you can be good like me, it just takes time and patience.
I know that many arcade games you can go full throttle every turn but not in lfs, you must practise your skills first. Give it time.
