Car feels great, love the different config options so far too. A 90s config would be sweet Wink
The cars suspension feels good but i noticed you used linear suspension all around :/ would be cool to change that to MacPherson (pretty sure jzx81's run MacPherson struts)
Overall banger mod hyped to see it improve from here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Quote from marcin338 :but some of the people doesn't have that problem and they playing online with tanks.. so it's quite weird issue.

Quote from CozmicDragon :DO NOT USE THIS MOD ONLINE, YOU WILL GET OOS!

Otherwise, very fun to smash up AI offline with this behemoth. LFS doesn't have to be serious all the time.

I believe the tank's massive curb weight is what causes the OOS errors, but I might be wrong.

The OOS error should be fixed! Uploaded an update to the mod and i loaded into online okay now. Let me know if you guys are still getting OOS issues.

Quote from Racon :I love the 'fuse to average' and 'fuse to green' functions in points mode, that really helps balancing the workload between the modder and the gouraud Wink

I thought 'subdivide' and/or 'subdivide radial' functions would be equally helpful for triangles mode, for those times you need just a tiny bit more control of the curves than you thought you would. I took some screenies of doing it manually.

They could delete the original triangles, make the new points at the average positions, make the new triangles with the same properties as the replaced one, and then select them.

If it could cope with multiple selections we could stack the operations too.

I really like this thought. Would make the modeler easier for creating smoother body's. I would think implementation wouldn't be extremely difficult.

Steering rotation is very snappy, i had the same problem with my p166. When drifting my irl wheel turns less than 180 degrees when sliding so it wants to snap back straight. Body looks good tho and car sounds banger, tuning the suspension and some setup adjustments would be hugely beneficial. Keep up the good work Nipe

Quote from detail :Great work! Minor issues: rear red lights don't turn on with headlights, and headlights seem dark even when on.

Is LFS picking up that youre going full throttle? Intake restriction on the car? Maybe weight reduction? Clutch wear is something that could the case as well. Meh Setup & bad driving habits cause you to be slower than other racers?

I should mention you can just press the S to save a sound. So loading into thr xrt and saving the blow off and turbo noises, you can load them onto your lx6 that way too.

When youre testing your mod in game, press SHIFT+A and it brings up engine audio editing. The L & S buttons on the right side allow you to load in your own sound clips for turbo blow off or engine sound too. Once youve got the sound youre happy with export the engine file to your LFS editor engines folder and make sure to select it in the TRANSMISSION section in the editor. Smile

Quote from misu2048 :why is it so much faster (~175kph vs ~115kph) backwards? bug with the mod or with LFS? @Scawen

A random in our server was going backwards in it and hitting high top speeds lol. He didn't win any races though since the steering gets hard to manage Shrug

Quote from Scawen :I like this project and it's good to see that our physics seems to go down to this scale but I'm confused by the engine - it is said to be electric motor, but sounds like a single cylinder four stroke engine. Maybe if it's meant to be internal combustion, it could use a two stroke engine and a centrifugal clutch? Or if meant to be electric (as it appears in the image) why not use the normal gear whine sound?

Thanks for the feedback Scawen! Yea the physics are just on the limit of working, any smaller and things start to brake lol. I just did an update and changed the engine sound to a more tradition electric RC motor sound which works a lot better for how we built the chassis. Originally I wanted it to be a Nitro RC kind of style but we ended up with a chassis closer to RC drift cars with electric motors.

Glad to hear everyone's enjoying it! Were having a blast racing these online so its cool to hear most people are having the same experience. Big grin

Quote from Flame CZE :Why is the body missing in the cover image?

Just Shows off the RC chassis, you get to pick a shell once you load it up in the pits by changing configuration.
Few of the guys thought it would be cool for a "no-shell config".

Quote from MandulAA :Looks hilarious, it's like the cars in the old Re-Volt pc game, without the bonuses and weapons, haha! Big grin I like the fact that you can't roll or it or get it into a slide (with default set at least).
One thing I noticed, is that it constantly damages the outside rear suspension when turning left/right at high speeds:
https://streamable.com/1kn0d4

It is just like re-volt & FR Legends! hahah thats perfect! Ill take a look at the suspension tonight, couple things got to be cleaned up with the shadows too Face -> palm The downforce of the undertray is a little high too, although i do like how much the cars hug the ground... Big grin

Quote from Molliwhoppa :Excellent job! My laptop can only run GPL and LFS so it's nice to have access to a car from my fav era of racing. The thing gets really slidey with road supers and no wings! I'm still figuring it out but it's still been fun learning it.

Man really happy to hear this Big grin Big grin. This is exactly the reason why I like making mods, Other racing sims can be intense to run on a older system so having this feature in LFS and the joy of being able to model/drive our favorite cars is so cool.

Quote from loopingz :Is it me or all the configuration share the same aero dynamic settings?
It kind of kills the point imho.
Other than that it is brilliant.

I know Frown no way around it since you cant have aerodynamics be contributed to configuration sets.. Just like tire sizes cant be changed with different configurations either which is another thing i ran into on the P1 and the Phoenix. ( I just turn off the wing aero if im rocking the early spec Wink )
