Nonsense, as seen in the previous races and in the past few years everything is decided in qualifying.

So because someone is "smart enough" (which you need not be, it's not exactly rocket science) (no offence to the miserable nerds doing such activity) (and yes, I am qualified to call people nerds as I intend to some day actually have a degree in computer science) he should be allowed to cheat? Admittedly, an interesting viewpoint.

So putting that theory in practice you should be allowed to rob a bank if you discovered the wall, behind of which the safe lies, has a hole in it?

You pair of big daft cocks.

Regardless of weather Scawen will do anything about it for the next patch, hiding that bit of info is incredibly stupid as you're creating a scenario where some people know more than others and it can be exploited.

Quote from RasmusL :
Technology-wise, I'm really excited for the revival of the turbo engine. No more stupid NA V8. Is that gonna happen in 2013? I can't quite remember

Cutting costs wise not really smart. Everything FIA seems to do, even cost cutting, is everything but cutting costs. Why the hell do everybody now need to build a new engine? Just go with the old one, perhaps manufacturers wouldn't drop out because of the costs..

It's the same as the aero renewing a couple of years ago. What good did that achieve (except it gave Ross Brawn a chance to show he's a genius.) Everybody had to spend millions and millions designing a completely new car, resulting in Honda and Toyota dropping out. And what for? Better competition. I laugh my ass off at that argument. Aero doesn't make good fights on track or make overtaking easier, it does exactly the opposite.

Why must the regulations change every few years? Just stick with the same rules at least for a decade. New regulations always make everything go tits up.

Quote from gezmoor :It does? did you miss this bit ?

"charges of defrauding the Brazilian public under laws protecting the rights of fans to witness fair spectacles"

Apparently I missed that bit AS IT IS OF NO ****ING RELEVANCE TO ANYTHING I DISPUTED EARLIER.

But of course I could not have based my comment on other mediums than Eurosport. Especially if it happens to not be an English article and as far as I'm aware the majority of this forum wouldn't make a puff diddly out of it, thus linking to that would be rather idiotic. Then again, this would only be a problem if some adolescent in desperate need for clearasil happened to believe a newstrory, that has traveled from one news agency to another whilst being edited by people who probably are familiar neither with F1 nor Brazilian laws, is a hundred per cent accurate.

The story is perfectly understandable. It's not a joke. It's a true story of a retarded bloke who took a poor Vietnamese man hostage. Had the title been "Vietnamese guy taken hostage by imbecile" would you have laughed?

I was trying to be ****ing serious for once you ****ing ****ers.

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :This track hosted GTAL in the inaugural season back in 2009 already, everything went fine IIRC.

I don't have such good memories. IIRC You managed to ruin the engine while getting a pucture while being passed by Passo for 16th. And all that after I had just done an awesome stint with 40 consecutive fastest laps.

Apologies for a cheesy, slightly racistic story but nevertheless. I heard this one a couple of days ago from a Laplander. I've been argued it's a true story. And in case you're wondering, no, Lapland isn't the birthplace of lapdancing. Anyway.

There was this family from Rovaniemi who had a summer home, a small cottage, not far from the town in the woods. They were a man and his wife and their two grown up sons, one of which was a bit 'slow'. You know, engine running but no one behind the wheel.

It was autumn and it had been a great season for berries. Finnish people like berries very much. So the whole family went up to their summer home to do some berry picking for the weekend. However, as it had been a great season there were a lot of berries still up for grabs at the nearabouts of the cabin when the good people intended to leave on Sunday. So the mentally challenged son suggested he would stay there alone for a few more days to pick some more berries. And so he did.

The next day his mother called him to check up on him. She asked how he was doing to which he replied "I'm all right mom. Everything is just fine. Except there's a troll here."

The woman was slightly disoriented in her disbelief but assured her son "there were no trolls at this latitude." The next day however she was a bit worried of her son, and called him again. Her son announced how everything was just fine as he had "locked the troll up in the sauna." This naturally got the woman worried so she drove up to the cabin to find a Vietnamese bloke locked up in her sauna.

Morale of the story? Come up with it yourself. I guess even if you manage to fight the polar bears you might still end up caged in a sauna on your holiday in Lapland.*

*This is not really true. The Vietnamese man was only working in Finland for the summer. A lot of Vietnamese people come to pick berries in Lapland.
