What a close qualy. I'm pretty satisfied with the results, Alonso P3, Webber nowhere. NICE!
**** YEAH VETTEL :guitarist
Well, looks like this isn't going to turn out the way I want it to.

Alonso most certainly have one hand on the title.

Unless the McLarens managed to chop him off at the start tomorrow. But then it'd be the McLarens breaking apart and Alonso continuing on undamaged. lol
Webber starts on the cleaner side though so don't discount him, although his starts aren't exactly his strong point.
I am hoping Webber can pull something out the hat for tommorows race, not entirely sure he can, best whishes to him nonetheless..

Nowhere ? He starts less than 3meters behind Alonso...
Edit : I'll keep my thumbs for Webber, he deserves it more than whiner Alonso and ham-fisted Vettel
Oh come on guys, don't kid me around, Vettel will be WC tomorrow

5th place is pretty crap if you're going for the win.
Webber for WDC??? lol good joke

Alonso has the title now, Ferrari can start celebrating today and just drive the third place home tomorrow.
Webber crashing out Alonso anyone ? I hope not though.

To me all deserve to win, though for some reason I'll be pro-Alonso. He has some good humor, has balls for racing (like Hamilton) and has won the most races this season (5). Red Bull has the constructers title already.
There's some twists and turns left in this.
Nonsense, as seen in the previous races and in the past few years everything is decided in qualifying.

Tell that to the Red Bulls

Hoping Vettel does the job, but that means both Webber and But-boy getting past Alonso....unlikely.

I'd love to see Hamilton leading the race then pitting in with alleged mechanical issues a couple of laps from the end. The Red Bulls behind him then do a formation finish to give the WDC to Webber. Get it right up ye Alonso
I am predicting a very nromal, procedural and somewhat boring race. When a race receives so much hype, you just know it will not live up.
Amazing that your all discounting Webber before the race has even started, half way through the season no one would of thought Alonso had a chance and now his leading.
So clearly its still a open game, but your all pretty narrow minded to not see all the options!
Is there any stream for the race?
Would be very very appreciatted

OP's link says 20% chances of rain. I then went around on the internet and searched for other sources, most of them do not mention rain on today's forecasts.

I'm not a specialist but today humidity is way higher than usual in the region(47-65% according to the sources), so there might be some chances yea.
Vettel vs. Webber fight for 1st place = Alonso win. :chicken:
Alonso has this in the bag. He's been very smart this year. He had the confidence to predict that RedBull and their drivers would cock up somewhere along the line meaning no unnecessary risks would be required to catch them. They would make the mistakes themselves. Had hamilton had the same confidence he would be in a winning position right now, but you live and learn.

How RBR have probably lost this championship I do not know! lol
if redbull dosen't win the WDC its epic fail.
That sentence demonstrates all that is wrong in the world, apart from the fact you used a fullstop rather than lol.

If Red Bull doesn't win the WDC then it will have been quite a failure for them.

Although, to be fair, it's mostly the drivers fault rather than the teams. Sure, the team hasn't been perfect, and neither have the engines, but both drivers have done some pretty stupid things. That's why only Alonso, Button or Kubica actually deserve the title on merit, as they're the only 'top' drivers not to have suffered brain fade half the time.

Alonso P3 in Monaco. how is that not a major brain fade? But he has been, overall, the best driver this year.

Not sure how Button would deserve the title in any sense. His constant moaning about lack of grip, and his evident lack of speed against Hamilton proves this. Is losing a tenth of two a lap against another driver in the same car not evidence of constant errors of judgement or brain-fade?

In terms of laps ahead of team mate only Di Grassi and someone else have worse records. I think Button has only led Hamilton only 28% in races this year. And take out the two lucky tyre decisions and it could be worse.

That is being hard on Button, because he has had a decent year and is a superb driver, but be realistic. Deserving of title? I think not.

As good as Kubica is, he has been flattered by having a pay-driver as team-mate unlike the other title contenders.
