That would be the obvious choice yes but remember it's Jakg we're talking about... he'd end up installing a bodykit anyway. I'd buy a Golf myself if I had those requirements (but tbh I'd probably go for an Audi if it was a car for myself :P)
Go for a car you can not end up installing a spoiler. A diesel. A spacious family wagon. A good, economical and dead reliable Toytota Avensis. Not a Corolla because it's a crapbox you can't even fit in.
Well, I don't know what Chris/ Deko promised anyone. If he/they /whoever promised you two to run a league with the exact same rules on the same day you should have said "This is not what we agreed, please go **** yourself/selves."
Otherwise I'm not the one being a prick. No sensible person would ever start whining in some league subforum that it's ruined because it doesn't suit his schedule.
Besides, fighting over something this nontrivial is stupid. Anyone can run an event like he desires, whenever he desires. Here the only thing you are supposedly passing along is a name. Quite frankly I don't understand at all why there had to be such a fuss about it, on both sides.
I've got a 384 kbps connection I use in the middle of nowhere and to my own surprise I could connect to an LFS server fine, not time out even once and other people didn't seem to lag much. I couldn't/can't test it properly because my laptop isn't gaming spec (lfs@25 fps ftw!), but I guess I could have drive with it.
Why do you have an XRR+10% and BF1+85% in the first place??
Alright, could you please be a bit more specific on which race you cannot enter. Which server to be precise? Or are you talking about single player? Do you host your own server, in which case what insim do you run that is supposed to control the restrictions?
I've used Trillian (both the old one and Astra) for all my IM's and irc. Seems to work.
Also Opera Internet browser has irc built in, plus it does all kinds of other stuff (like works as a media server, streams music, does email...) and is a whole lot better as an internet browser than IE, and miles less annoying than Firefox.
