Succinctly put. He really is a tiny weasel of a man with interests which are purely selfish.
And he tries all that spin rubbish - oh we should be grateful for even having a British F1 GP Aye right Bernie, try removing that one from the rota!
Bollocks to the wee sh!te, the sooner he gets flattened by a tonka truck the better.
Tilke is on his last warning as well, any more of his p!sh and I'll be over there to confiscate his drawing board and "Ladybird Junior Race Track Designer" book.
Er, no. It's their server to do with as they please. Within reason
If you acted like a tool on our server then ban=999 straight away. Come and drive sensibly (be you greased lightning or backmarker) then you are always welcome.
But CD is a particularly bad one to pick if yer a noob on the combo You'll just get in trouble. Same goes for dMr and Oval junky servers.
First off, trail braking with a mouse/keyboard. Sorry but I'm not able to help there, been using a wheel since the year dot. I have heard something about the button refresh rate being fairly vital tho if using the KB. There are quite a few threads on here about it. A wee search should suffice
The average amount of populated servers seems to be about 50-70 based on 1800-2300 GMT. These are obviously the peak hours in Europe whilst other spikes occur for Australasian and North/South America. So it will kind of depend upon what time of day you frequent LFS.
Most folks drive in cockpit view or wheel view. I jump between the two depending on circumstances.
I would seriously recommend purchasing a cheap FF wheel and pedals ($30-40) as well as S2($50??). There are plenty new drivers entering S2 each day, so don't worry about being left behind! It is also the place to come to get set ups and assistance from more experienced racers. We're normally a pretty friendly bunch, honest
CTRA Race 1 would be a good place to start your LFS career. A good mix of driving abilities and folks to learn from. There is also a really good reporting facility in place which helps to keep the server from being inundated by wreckers
And yes, theres always a few oval servers running. Just make sure you know the correct decorum
1) How is there a Santa in Westerhailes shopping centre? Westerhailes is where you go to recover 95% of Edinburghs stolen goods. His presents (and indeed fake belly) would be gone as soon as Santa nicked out for his first fag of the day.
2) You gotta love the last sentance in the report.... A council with a sense of humour? Never..........
Yes, but don't the new interiors mean a physics update which means wipeing the LFSW hotlaps etc again, not too long after the last one at Xmas 07. Not that this bothers me but clearly the devs want to minimise the number of times they do this.
I agree it's not that expensive for those of us lucky enough to be familiar with the above standard/cost of living. I do however, totally object to the fact that as soon as I stop paying monthly fees I lose the content I have already bought, oops I mean rented. I may be daft, but I'm not stupid
I've only been playing LFS seriously for a couple of years (c. 25k miles) so am nowhere near burnt out or bored of the content.
I also have faith the dev team will spoil us rotten with new cars and tracks, but not before S3. Keep the faith
Exactly, and thats the kind of thing that has made people think twice about Hatememlol (inspired name, on a par with iRental )
Not sure I get the MC Hammer reference though
TBH, I quite liked LH last year, even if I was shouting for Kimi to win the WDC. He looked like he could be the next big thing in British motorsport and I even hoped that by not winning last year it might just knock a little of that uncomfortable smugness out of him.
But yeh, you gotta like Kubica, and in fact 95% of the current F1 drivers are a pretty agreeable bunch.
All the time, sure. But when starting from 13th on the grid on a track which is difficult to overtake on, maybe taking any points at all would be better than nothing?
I don't know if matured is the right word, but there has definatley been a significant change in FA's attitude this year, and it's not hard to see why. I agree, my respect for him has grown a lot this year.
He may not have had much say where he drove this year but I'm enjoying watching him hang it out and giving it everything to hang on to the big 3
ATM it looks like a proper 4 horse race for the WDC, but I expect it to come down to the two Ferrari boys come the last few races.
Still, I know what you mean. The energy in Mothers Milk & BSSM was incredible. None more so than the track 'My Lovely Man' (another Slovak tribute piece) which is Frusciantes career highlight to date, for me anyway.
Then theres been a couple of albums where they've gone all melodic and tuneful. Whilst they don't do a bad job of it, they Chilis are capable of soooooooo much more.
Let me hear ya say - I'm a freak of nature, walking totem pole. Look and see I think you'll agree, theres nobody weird like me
A group of friends and I frequent the auto success ballast server each Thursday night, and if there was a option for this set up I think we would use it (most of us do that voluntarily already)
It should be enough to log your hotlap and know for yourself it's the quickest time using a manual set up
And it doesn't make any difference come the actual racing. With practice it actually becomes an advantage, but you can't drive it like a auto set up. It requires a different approach into the braking areas.
