Quote from audimasta :Nice skins guys Although i kind of liked the skins i saw some of you use yesterday. The black ones with "Concept Racing" written in this funky white font

Those 'Black skins' were short term skins whilst the real ones were being designed/made

Quote from Toddshooter :No teams racing just for fun. Just show up and race. Every man or woman for themselves.

Why not just do it on the CTRA Race 3 servers like we all are at the moment anyway?

The only Team not really there at the mo is FPR

Concept Racing now has its own forum.
It's a place where its members have a place to interact and communicate with each other, along with eventually new forum members and such like. A website is also coming soon

M.Hoekstra (badeend) has worked hard in designing and creating Concept Racing's team forum.

With input from all team members the Concept Racing team forum's has been beta tested and now launched

The finished result can be seen here.

Quote from Nobo :Thats what i said... unfortunately
The Italians and CR catching up anyway...well our team needs to get more active again to maintain 2nd.

lol

I think the PLZ will get you first...

As you know, CR are only 8 racers (we'd like more but need to grow steadily) whilst the PLZ is like an Italian Army I think made up of 22 racers ..

RUNNING UF1 LEAGUES
I am thinking that we should run the UF1 May-Hem cup in May again and then maybe a UF-Baby-R league later in the year in the Fall hence Fall-Out)

For instance the May-Hem cup can again be made with the 5 x Thursdays we have in May.

We can have 5 rounds like last season, but maybe do a slightly different format, a mixture between the May-Hem and the Fallout.... even thinking about James request and have a rallycross stage in the league.... might be fun, who knows:P

I'm interested in opening out the league admin to more than just Concept Racers, maybe a few frrom different team who can work together to get the best out of these leagues.

I'm tempted just to admin myself and not race, but run it for the benefit of others....but who really does know at this stage

@ ALL PEOPLES COMMENTS ARE WELCOME

By the way
Concept Racing of course we paid the bill

And N I K I me and cougar decided to call it mobil racing because we both work in the motor trade and both use the oil.

-1.

infact -100!

Whole point of the UF BR is that EVERYone has matched machinery..

Out of interest. what tracks did you use to balance the 2 cars?
also did you do any ballast testing or just based on intake restriction?

Correct.

It was reviewed on Shift-U after the race, imparticulalry as we had a pit window for people to stop in.

The only other way it 'could' be detected is if you modded the layout of the track.

Put up poles along the exit line and if a competitor knocks it over (its non damaging to then and others) then they get a penalty

HTH

The UF Baby-R thing is fine as that is what it is (as long as you keep the 45% restriction on it of course)

Nice name for the XFR

Quote from J@tko :To sort out any copyright issues (:razz, if CR/ZWR have an issue with me calling it the XF-Baby-R then stuff you, (I mean I'll change it!)

To tell you the truth, the balancing isn't quite perfect. What I'd ideally want is a 43.5% restriction, but that's not possible.

Hey there,

As the person who came up with the UF Baby-R car (and part of the group that came up with the name and Fall-Out league) there is obviously no reason why you can not use the name UF Baby-R.

It is the name we gave to the new class of car, however I would suggest/advise that you called the XF restricted car something else.

The reason why should be obvious:

You will get people confused talking about different 'Baby' car's, which run with different restrictions.

Example, GT2 cars are not called GT Baby-R's they are called GT2.

Also you are/will be using it for your own league then maybe it is reward for you taking the time to properly balance them etc etc

You could call it in reality anything, but I personally wold prefer if you did not use the Baby-R name for the other FWD cars.

How about XF-Cadet or something like that, an idea thought is much more rewarding to see used that just using a name that someone else has already taken the time to think up

Cheers and Regards,

Dru.

Quote from VoiD :IMO the main reason is that for the majority of people UFbR is just another simple, stupid, public server. You can join, of course without going to racauthority to read the rules before, and fool arround. No league, not private, nothing to read and "sign up" before, just another pick-up-server...

I guess all of you noticed people without having a proper license trying to join the higher tiered servers over and over again. They are not ready, get kicked, and that´s a good thing.

This is true, and is absolutely the reason why Sam is pondering the change from an entry level server
