Yes this is a very good tool for mem testing, it found errors for me sooner than Memtest x86. Also, If you are running an Intel chip, IntelBurnTest is a great tool for testing ram stability. And it does it very quickly (compared to other instensive testing methods), keep and eye on your temps if your overclocked though.
Not to go OT here, but how can anyone play at 60hz refresh rate? for me the anything BELOW 72hz gives me eye strain/headache. How does less flickering give a headache?
Apparently Fifth Gear will be reviewing the Scirocco on next weeks episode, if anyones interested. Unfortunately the muppet, Tom Ford will be reviewing it.
They where some great races. Can't help but feel for Plato, it must be frustrating to be so close yet so far. At least the Championship wasnt decided, mathematically anyway, in the penultimate round. Excellent driving by Jackson and Doyle. I recon Jackson will be in a Works car next year.
The only thing I dont like about the BTCC is "anchor man" Ted, But I guess that more of an ITV issue. He comes off as a bit of a smarmy git. I didn't like his comment about Plato after the round was over. "oh well, you can always tell they have thrown in the towel when they talk like that", or something to that effect. No, they where the words of a good sports man. You can be damn sure Plato will be giving it everything he's got until the last race of the last round. I think I prefered Setanta's coverage, but at least they still have Edwards and Harvey, great commentators, and racer!
Sweet, cant wait for the first of the enduros. I was going to say, "I hope its a good race", but who am I kidding, I dont think I have seen a bad V8s race. Best tin top racing by far. Look out for Skaife and Tander, you know they'll be making life difficult for the VodaPhone boys
Hope you have a great time, looking forward to the photos .
From what I saw, he was drinking it during the race too
I enjoyed the races. Another fine podium for Andrew Jordan. It was nice to see all three races in the dry too, most races Ive seen at Knockhill before where rather wet.
I'm trying to compress an uncompressed video to divx or xvid in VirtualDub, but when I go to file menu Video\Compression dialog I only see 5 available codecs to render with:
(uncompressed RGB/YCbCr)
Fraps Video compressor
Intel IYUV codec
Microsoft RLE
Microsoft Video 1
I don't see any Xvid or DivX codec available, although they are installed. Any one have any idea on why this is happening?
some times I think, ahh a bit of blood thats not too bad. and then I start to get hazy vision and if I get too bad need to lie down. I think I tend to let my brain go into over drive thinking about how bad the wound is / how bad it could have been. it has to be real (not a film or something) and usually only when I injure myself eg slicing figure with bread knife.....urrrrggg :faint:
I have maximum respect for people who have to deal with nasty injurys all the time, doctors, ambulance and firecrews etc I doubt I could ever do something like that.
I don't think it looks that bad, but what the heck where they thinking with those headlights? :uglyhamme
its "mouth" also needs to be rounder, and less Chrysler-ish
Who cares about the black flag? He already pitted with with car problems. He got the black flag after he rejoined for testing, he was already well down the order. Maybe the car was not at top speed and the stewards where worried it might interfere with the others racers in the last few laps of the race....
The red mist descended in race2 admittedly, but fair play to Gio for an excellent recovery. Race one and race three where good. Well done to Stephen Kane on his first Podium
..And whats wrong with Ben and Tim. Some of the most enjoyable commentators to listen to, they are.
I think it would be a great addition to have a touring car style TBO class, based on the current cars. I remember the FXO was a lot of fun with slickmod. Sure, there would be nothing but slick TBO servers initially, but I would still enjoy driving the standard road car too.
Hear Hear, my "cringe o meter" usually goes off the scale when reading the test forum. Its embarrassing and I feel bad for Scawen. How many times do people have to be told not to spam :slap:? Scawen must have the patience of a preschool teacher.
Well Slash is up there with the best (with GnR), although though not the longest carrier admittedly. And what about Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman. So many good guitarists :headbang::bannana_g
