It was one session, I've been consistently a "good sport" since the game came out, getting $1k all the time, it was just an hour of madness with sticky bombs with a mate. Now I can't play the game for 2 days. I used to think the 5 minute timer on COD for TKing was excessive.

I can't get a race, I can only do missions myself and I can't play with my friends anymore, there is no justification for banning me from the game for 2 ****ing days.
I was looking forward to getting a tank, guess that will be a ****ing waste of time if we get banned for using it.

Me and my mate were having a lot of fun blowing each others cars up any opportunity we got with sticky bombs, but now, in a game called Grand Theft Auto, full of murder, explosions, torture and hookers, I'm now a "bad sport" and banned from playing with my friends for 48 hours, over Friday and Saturday aswell, prime GTA time. Races are far and away the best way to make RP and GTA$ now, getting almost $10k every single race I win and I've been putting the max bet on myself aswell. We're all racing fanatics, we should be able to beat most of the other players out there, just need to avoid them or spin them out first. Easy money. Up at Level 38 now, with a $200k apartment, Skyline RH8 thing modded completely with armor and Turbo, and $200k in the bank for a rainy day.

It's a little aliased in places, few pop-in problems and the odd dodgy texture, but can you not honestly say that you're seriously impressed with what they're doing on 7 year old hardware? Water is beautiful, lighting system is absolutely outstanding and the draw distance is phenomenal.

.OK you're right, because it has golf and tennis side missions, it isn't a massive crime simulator. The game is called Grand Theft Auto. It's not griefing at all, it's trying to steal your money which is stolen anyway. Obviously, if you like robbing Shops and cars but don't like people doing it back to you, this isn't a game for you. Is this your first ever GTA? How boring would Online be if everyone just gave each other a wave as they drove by, why not play Single Player?
I'm not one of those type of people, no. For a start, I've never played Eve or any MMORPGs really so your reference is lost on me. I'm not a griefer in games, I race clean enough in sims, I play fair in Cod and BF, and I wouldn't even think twice about killing you with my sawn off and stealing $15,000.

Minecraft is about the building and mining, FPS games are about the competition. GTA is about absolutely free for all carnage, with as many crimes as possible. Your comparisons are well off. Complaining about being robbed in GTA because you had money from robbing shops and cars is really funny. You're going to be raging the next time I blow you away from my fighter jet.
The game is also designed to be played with friends, if you're a nigel no pals running about yourself you're always going to get grief. There are a lot of kids yeah, but just have your voice chat set to Crew + Friends, problem solved.

In a deathmatch right now, there is auto-aim, not as strong as SP but there is something definitely there.

Map isn't much bigger I suppose yeah, in the same way that the US isn't much bigger than the UK.
Being able to recover cars is a really nice touch aswell, in all previous GTA's I've always been feart to drive nice cars, but in this it's fine. It's also a lot better in the way that if you go and do a mission and come back, your car will still be parked there where you left it rather than magically disappearing.
All I would say is, if you're getting this game on PS3, buy it from the PS Store and download it. The noise of my Blu-Ray drive constantly reading is making me go insane.
Spent the last 2 days driving about and there is really nothing to worry about. In my opinion, a perfect mix between San andreas and IV. I loved the driving in IV and was as worried as the rest, and it really is brilliant.
Local shop here is basically notorious for selling games as soon as they get them for a bumped up price, I regularly get COD at least 3 or 4 days early. Tomorrow is the day, delivery mid-morning and by the time they're all sorted, 1pm is the winner. I wouldn't upload any videos or screenshots though, that's all part of the fun. I've not looked at any spoilers, only thing I've seen is the map, not even a gameplay video.
Can't keep everyone happy, if it's at a reasonable time for you then it's the middle of the night for us. You just need to learn to deal with it, what time would you suggest for example?

No shit. Actually, the tech demo is to show off the engine, the Alpha is to do bug tests and reports and other things of that nature, not completely disable Rift support because 1 user had a slight problem.
Just spent the best part of a couple of hours trying to get the Rift to work, only to run across this post, basically saying that rift support has once again been disabled. This is beyond a joke, the only reason why I paid for this Alpha access really and it's completely disabled because of a tiny problem? The game is good but it's already boring after about half an hour.
It is a fantastic bit of kit, and I've had some serious fun showing all my family and friends it, but the low-res screen really lets it down, especially for people like us who are used to 1080p graphics on a big PC monitor. It is exceptional though and with a better screen it will be the future.
If you screw the lenses back you can comfortably wear it with glasses, and I have tested it with my Dad using the C lenses to correct for his vision and he says it works very well.
