Shit, I forgot to update my line-up for this race. Ah well, I still have Bayne, Jr and Jimmie. This race is a lottery anyway, so it doesn't matter. Should be a good race.
Was a pretty good race, Neither huge pack racing or 2 car dancing are great, but it's obviously what's going to happen at a Super speedway. The only thing is Nascars caution calls, when a single car is about 300 feet away from the track on the backstretch infield, there is not a single chance there should be a caution thrown. Also no point throwing the yellow after the 01 went upside down on the last lap, might aswell let them race to the line.
So, my ISP (Be Unlimited) are having some major problems, and I now cannot access members.iracing.com, and on the odd occasion it connects it times out constantly. Every other website is perfect, and Be just keep fobbing people off blaming a 3rd party company. ****ing waste of time.
It's safer to live beside a nuclear power plant than it is to put your trousers on in the morning. Almost everything we do is inherently risky, I guess you never drive a car, never get on a plane and never leave the house?
There's actually a pretty decent chance he might get a drive at the Glen as a road course ringer, I hadn't thought of that. There is no WRC event on that weekend either.
It's not 100% safe, but unless we want to go back to the stone age we have to get power from somewhere. Anyway, there have been maybe 2 major incidents (Chernobyl, 3 mile island), and a few minor incidents with very minimal losses (Fukishima), not exactly a bad record. We all drive cars with much worse odds every day.
Anyway, are you suggesting eating a proper diet can stave off a nuclear blast?
So, what do you suggest? Build a fallout shelter in my back garden and live my life as a paranoid schizophrenic? To be honest, I really don't fancy surviving an extinction level event anyway.
I usually just bounce off the limiter in 3rd going up that hill, speed is the same as in 4th and it makes it a little easier under braking for the 'screw.
In the rookie series with fixed setups the Roadster is faster. With unlocked setups, the cup has a lot more adjustments and is almost identical with a decent setup. All they have to do is give the cup a better setup in the rookie series and the cars will be closer.
They don't perform an autopsy on an 80 year old man to figure out what he died from, that's why it just gets put down to old age.
Radiation kills plenty of people without any sort of explosion, at Chernobyl there were plenty of nearly immediate deaths simply because of the levels of radiation.
I've soldered the wires from the buttons back into the board several times, as you can see from the burnt board. It never lasts very long though, and it now doesn't work at all.
I appreciate the help Dadge, but it's unlikely. There are loads of posts on that logitech forum with people requesting parts and not a single person has had any success. Anyway, that post is from 2009, before the G27 was released. If it was possible to get parts then for a G25, it won't be now.
Hi, so does anyone have a broken or old G25 that they no longer use? I've broken the wheel buttons on mine, and am just after 2 very small parts. If anyone has an unwanted G25, let me know.
I'm pretty much hoping that the 2 car tango is less prevalent at Dega. I mean, last year a couple of people could break away in a 2 car draft, but it didn't work anywhere near as well as it did at Daytona this year. Since Dega has more banking and less grip, it's harder to stay hooked onto the other cars bumper, so it should be better than Daytona.
I also hope the weather is absolutely boiling, should make them have to swap constantly so they don't blow an engine. In Daytona it was pretty cool (about 15 - 20 degrees from what I can find), whereas at Talladega this weekend it's forecast to be about 30 degrees, which should go a long way to get rid of the 2 car hookup.
From a tick bite, I'm sure he will be fine and fit for 'Dega.
Only half watched the race last night lying in my bed, the night races might be good for the US but they're terrible for Europe. Was a pretty good race though, I forgot to change my fantasy drivers beforehand but I seem to have done allright, and am now leading the league overall .
