What makes one persons opinion overrule anothers, Blueflame? Especially when you yourself don't have a ****ing clue what it's like to drive one of those cars?
Hi GF. The participation is pretty great for most series. Things like the Star Mazda, Grand-Am and Indycar get lots of participation and almost every race goes official, as does the F1 car. If you're interested in oval racing you will always be able to find a race, no problem. A couple of the series, like the V8 Supercar and the Lotus 79 aren't quite so good, but the members organise at least 2 races per week which always have big grids.
There really is no way to identify old LFS racers unless you know their name. Maybe we should think about organising a list on here so we can recognise them when we go out on track.
Car setups are fantastic, pretty much every option thats on the real cars are on there in iRacing. Setting up the Indycar and the F1 car is almost impossible because of the amount of setup options . To give you an idea, I've attached the iRacing supplied guide to setting up the F1 car.
I've moved onto iRacing completely now, only booting up LFS in the past 6 months to test the new test patch, but the serious lack of servers is a problem. LFS still feels very good, but iRacing just keeps getting better and better, and the NTM is due out in August which should improve things drastically.
Racer X is more of a sheep than anyone else here. He immediately believes everything that conspiracy nuts tell him, which is worse than believing everything the media tell us.
You just described yourself, you instantly believe any conspiracy theory bullshit without actually considering it.
Plenty of people have disagreed with you on perfectly rational grounds, but you take any slight disagreement as abuse, and fail to listen to anyone.
About that chinese news clip you posted. First of all, you really don't think the Chinese would be slightly biased against the yanks? And second, those interviews with the people who live in Abbottabad, obviously they wouldn't have seen Osama just cutting about. Do you think he would just pop down the shops? About the Fox News article, you constantly tell us not to listen to the Media, but then post a Fox News article as some kind of proof? No-one with a brain believes anything Fox News say.
Of course, this is pointless, Racer doesn't actually listen to what anybody posts.
Can you please actually post a reply to this post? I've not been abusive, I've been completely rational, so please do not just ignore it and copy paste another post like usual.
I feel asleep with about 100 to go, just finally got to watch it today. Great win from Smith, and both Harvick and Busch are shite-bags. I don't like either of them really, but I just wish they both hadn't been chicken shit and had actually got out of their cars instead of being poofs.
I wouldn't say night was perfect conditions, sure the engines make a little more power, but the track temp plummets and so the car has less grip than on a sunny day.
That's because the V8 supercar is more broken than the COT car, the V8 has far too much grip when it's at a hilarious slip angle. With a realstic setup and a realistic style of driving, the V8 supercar is very close to real times and it feels great, but to be competitive you have to run ridiculous setups.
Pole lap at Darlington was a 27.2 this weekend, and in iRacing it's about a 26.7, that's not very far off at all considering we have perfect conditions, and a car which generates too much grip at higher slip angles.
The problem isn't that the COT has low grip, it's that it has far too much grip over the limit.
There's more chance of the cash machine being rigged than MS doing anything slightly dodgy with your details, it seems that they actually secure personal data, why has no-one else though of that?
For the record, I have a PS3, I've never owned an MS console and I don't intend to, so I'm a very long way away from a MS fanboy, but pointlessly bashing them for irrelevant things just to try and take attention away from Sonys **** up is a bit pathetic. This is a thread about Sony, why did Microsoft even get brought up?
Already given it away mate, sorry. If yours had broke last week I would have given you it .
From my experience with Logitech, I chanced it to send an e-mail to support, failing to mention that I had modified the wheel and opened it up, and they offered me 50% off a G27, which isn't bad at all.
Have you posted this on the iRacing forums? Probably a better chance of getting one there. A guy actually just posted that his G25 had packed in, maybe try giving him a wee PM. http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/1474191.page
V8 Supercars just aren't good enough to drive with the current tyre model, it behaves very very strangely. I think they are fantastic, but hopefully when the NTM comes out, it should get a lot better.
If less than 8 people (I think) sign up to a race, it's unofficial and doesn't count for iRating and points, which means you don't have to run the race.
This is the second week I've forgotten to take Bayne out of my line-up. With 4 drivers I'm getting ****ed, ah well.
What a save by 5-time, brilliant demonstration of car control and keeping an out of control car out of the way of everything. JPM is wrecking everyone he can.
