No there is no possibility of trying out the sounds without using LFS. If you dislike the sounds in LFS, don't worry, they are produced in real-time, unlike other games which play samples unaltered. They will get much better in time.
I am the driver. And I move. IMO turn the wheel and driver off.
Only for replays would driver movement be good. The gear shift hand movement would then be able to be timed correctly, as LFS knows when the driver has shifted.
Nice footage again, but the jumping constantly between different onboards does get a little annoying. Oh, and in response to your question about the splitscreens, I personally prefer each lap played seperately (I can't concentrate on two things so I covered one on them up LOL). But thanks anyway.
TBH I really don't think it is patch X related, although I could be wrong.
Look in the process list: http://www.xefteri.com/article ... 4/images/task_manager.gif
Under the CPU tab, to see if anything is hogging your CPU while LFS is running. LFS should approach 100%, and all other programs should stay below 1 or 2%.
If you are fast in a simulator, you have the skill and potential to be fast IRL. This doesn't include how well you will cope with the fear factor and physical demands.
If you are slow in a simulator, you won't have the talent / skill to be fast IRL.
I think Alonso could have taken it, if he didn't take so much curb on the 2nd slow hairpin before the final corner in the infield, causing oversteer and losing himself traction...
Yeah I think a lot of you guys are being overly unimpressed by Hamilton's performances..
I mean, not off the podium this season, any gap he has seen he has got himself in, pole position at a track he has never seen before (or does it show that simulator really works Tristan :razz, keeps his head in ANY situation he has been in so far, NO mistakes, superb driving style, and thrashing his highly experienced opponents in the world championship in his rookie F1 year.
Like someone said, I think if Hamilton won every race from now on, you guys would still be unimpressed.
I think hamilton is absolutely great, I don't care if the media go OTT, he is superb, his driving style is awesome, always on the brink of losing the car but somehow always keeps it moving forwards.
Good video, but bbman has a point. Gentlefoot, what he is TRYING to say, is that driving over huge curbs, such as the ones in fern bay, as one drives over them to get a fast time in LFS would not be plausable in real life, as you would be sure to significantly damage the suspension. In LFS the suspension's are not damaged by shocks or sudden impacts as significantly as in real life, therefore the style of driving in LFS looks unrealistic, and this is reflected in the video.
What the hell?? Plants ABSORB CO2, WE PRODUCE CO2....
Anyway my take on it is this: Whether or not CO2 is a major global warming contributor, I really don't know. But what I do know, is that breathing in what cars give out is not good, cutting down trees is not good (AS THEY ABSORB CO2 AND GIVE US OXYGEN), filling land with waste is not good, and using up the worlds oil resources is not good.
So either way, WE STILL NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. And better be safe than sorry.
P.S. I agree that the quoted guy in the first post is a prat, but he does have some points, however I DO NOT WANT MOTORSPORT BANNED as it is not a major factor.
