28, it was 2 weeks ago, although i am told that my very lightweight frame (6 feet tall and only 130 pounds) could have something to do with how much my body can take limit wise, even the policeman said that for example, a big guy who's been drinking with a meal may well be just under the limit after 2 pints, whereas a small or skinny guy whos ate a few hours ago and had only 1 pint may be just over, there really is no set level of physical drink to go by.

Quote from Töki (HUN) :What did you do?

3 cans of lager over about 4 or so hours, and then drove about 2 hours after id drank the last alcoholic drink, pulled, over the limit, busted, i honestly thought id be fine, felt totally ok, but nope, banned.

Quote from Minimaxman :Picked up some new wheels for my E36. Not as nice as the RC041s Dan has, but got a cracking deal on these. Needed new tyres all round anyway on my old set and these came with virtually new Dunlops for the princely sum of £170. Still need the M3 lip and front mesh.

Looks sweet on those, black kidney grills looks ideal as well, that was the first job i planned to do on mine when i got it, until i found that it already had them in black, any darker coloured '36 looks so much better with them like that i think.

Now my impending driving ban has come into force (16 month disqualification lowered to 12 if i do some kind of driver awareness course and a £265 fine) im gunna have to bite the bullet and wave bye bye to my 328, a shame, but realistically speaking ill never be able to insure it once i regain my license, plus parking it up for a year isnt going to do it any good, so yeah, ill get it MOT'd (only has 6 weeks left on it) then sell her, needs must

Some may remember mx5 pictures in the car thread, THOSE pictures with the motorholics girls, and a couple of them with a very special lady sat in the middle of the bonnet, one of the true loves of my life, my charlotte.

This was a test fitting she did for a mate if his brides wedding dress as she was pretty much the same size and build, and it was to be a suprise wedding, and boom, here she is...

Last night, she was taken away, and as much as it sounds like a pun, she really did live for speed, and went doing what she loved, motorsport.

I still cannot begin to take in whats happened, i swear its all a bad dream and ill wake up soon and find its not happened at all, cannot believe it.

Im off to an event on friday, and the organiser (my best mate) would like the sets recorded, which principally is very very easy, but doing it the easy way doesnt always give the best results as i have found before, ill try and keep it brief, but this is roughly the set up we use...

decks wired into the main dj mixer, 1 output ran to the smaller amp and therefore to the dj's monitors, so he gets just the sound he is creating which can be set to his preferred level of volume.

Then, a 2nd output ran from the main dj mixers secondary output to the 2nd mixer, and then into bigger amp, which runs the main sets of speakers on the dancefloor, the mic is also plugged into this 2nd mixer, so the floor can hear the MC, but the dj cant, and again, levels can be tailored to the venue.

the easy option is to simply run a lead from the 2nd mixers record output into the line in of the laptop and job done, but having tried this way in the past, the mc either sounds too quiet or too loud (usually too loud) on playback, its fine for the live venue at the time, but not for a recording.

So, what i want to do, is run the record output from the 2nd mixer into ANOTHER mixer, and also find a way to split the mic output so it can run to the 2nd mixer, AND into my mixer, so that way i can tailor the music/MC levels on my mixer and then record off that, leaving the dancefloor levels unchanged.

In short, is this possible, i can see no problem with any of it, apart from how to split the mic output to 2 seperate mixers, wondering if one of these would maybe do the trick???

many thanks in advance

Quote from Crashgate3 :Ah, with magic, turning bullets?

Obviously no, mr pedantic

shooting in the direction of someone and directly at someone are not the same thing, plus there is no way he could have aimed for them directly anyway, because it was night time.

This is entirely different from seeing someone in your yard and coming out guns a-blazing. Tony Martin* take note.

*Shot a teenager in the back and then claimed 'self defence'

Or, shot in their direction, (not directly at either of them) while they were still in the house, which is what actually happened.
