Recorded live at the legendary sanctuary in milton keynes on the 10th of july 2004, the last ever rave to be held there as the area was under development, there is now a shopping centre where that simply epic venue once was.

After a nail biting night imagining all sorts of broken engine scenarios, i drained flushed and refilled the beema with 2/3 anti freeze and 1/3 water, no leaks, starts and runs up to normal temperature with no problems at all, no damage, plus it seems to go a bit better too, thank god i got away with it!

i think the 3% thing is more to do with the fact that if it exceeds that amount of difference then your speedometer will be inaccurate.

For something running 175/65/14 as standard id stick 195/60/14 on it, only 1.1% difference

Had a very vivid and scary dream last night, very nasty, it was basically a relationship of a few years but fitted into a few minutes, like highlights of it if you get me, and with a girl that i know well, who has just become single in real life.

In the dream we got together (like we almost have on and off in real life over the years) and it was lovely, we married (walking down the aisle was particularly vivid) we had kids, twins, one boy and one girl, we named the boy richard michael and the girl skye emily, they grew up to about the age of 7 or 8.

Then my 'wife' got cancer (just as her mother has battled and won against in real life) and basically i saw her get iller and iller (this part was much more drawn out than earlier points in the dream) and on the 21st of march 2019 (there was a calender in the hospice) i watched her die.

We had the funeral, i did a eulogy, me and the kids went home in a grief filled daze, then i woke up.

I awoke and immedietly started crying, because i honestly believed that she was dead, then rationality kicked in and i texted her, she replied in under 5 minutes, the relief i felt was unreal, i never ever want that dream ever again!

Yeah me either, although i think there must have been some anti freeze in there, as it wasnt solid ice, more slushy, but if it is ruined, then i know of an e36 M3 that a good mate wrote off the other day, all running gear is still good though, hmm, i wonder...

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :Drink lots of water before you sleep, and if you get a really heavy hangover then eat little bits of bread and drink water (otherwise you don't have anything to throw up, and you do not want to end up in that situation, trust me it sucks).

Been there, only once, but yeah, one of the worst days of my entire life, i quite literally thought i was going to die.

Quote from PartyBoyU :must say that for me the best way is drink some beers or couple glass of vodka, thats the best way what i know.

Do as much of a bottle of dark rum as you can before you pass out, thats a guaranteed hangvoer giver that stuff.

I learned something very important today, when you buy another car, always check that its got anti-freeze in, dont stupidly assume that it will have as i did, i only found this because i left my car idling for about 10 minutes after driving just a few hundred yards from my house in order to jump start a mates golf earlier on today, try as we might, her tdi wouldnt start so we gave up, so i jumped back in my car, and oh shiii, temp guage is on the red, so i crept home, opened the rad cap and it looks like a slush puppy.

Car currently sits in my drive with all the hoses off in the hope that it gets above freezing tomorrow, then i can refill with fresh anti freeze, and see where water pisses out of and if i have cracked anything, im praying i have got away with it.

Woah, totally forgot i made this thread, the original post still stands too, still remember that dream as clear as day too, plus, funnily enough, about, hmm, 2 moths ago (sometime around christmas and new year) went out on the lash in newmarket, get fairly messy, accompanied a young lady home (i dont remember leaving the club) and awoke in the morning next to a brunette, just like in the dream (i left that specific out when i made this thread because i was engaged to a quite highly strung blonde, who was sat with me at the time, i would have been in trouble for it despite the fact it was a dream) was all very strangely familiar, yet it couldnt have been really because id never been there before.

So i rung a mate and got a lift back home, and f**k a doodle do, where had i been, yeah, 2 roundabout in, right, right at the t junction, then right again into a car parking block, which was where i was picked up by my mate, ffs, stupidly accurate, how did i dream, and remember for over 2 years, and it actually came true, thats bloody mental!

i love the transit i drive for work, its the 2011 newer shaped one, and a pickup/ drop side version, but its really quite a long vehicle compared to a normal transit, i cant find a pic on google of one thats as long as the one i drive, its got the standard cab on, but the body is 4 metres long, plus the tail lift which adds another foot, and its about 2 metres wide i would guess at least, certianly a good bit wider than the cab, its bang on level with the width as the mirrors each side, meaning that you cant turn in too sharply otherwise you crunch things with the side of it, as i found out one of the first times i drove it, has been epic in the snow tho, drifted like a badman around the yard at work yesterday, full opposite lock all the way round!

E: Found a pic on my FB

In other news, i now have every single bulb inside the car swapped out for the equivalent smd led items, much brighter, and a much nicer white light as opposed to the standard yellowy tinge, rear number plate light and sidelight bulbs have also been changed to smd led ones, but the canbus error free ones to stop the car throwing a wobbly thinking that you have blown bulbs.

The headlight bulbs were binned and replaced with super white ones which give a nicer white light and a hell of a lot better visibility than the standard ones, front and rear indicator bulbs have been changed to silvatec ones, as have the side repeaters, to me it seems silly to have clear clusters and then ruin it by sticking an orange bulb in.

Quote from Migz :A capacitor only holds the charge for a split second, so when the bass hits it pulls its initial power from the capacitor, then the capacitor has to pull the rest from the battery anyway. So its pointless in most situations.

Read this to see why it wouldn't be useful http://www.teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?p=54856

Indeed, plus the disco headlight effect you get in a car with big bass at night always makes me smile

Was -6 when i left for work about 6:45 this morning, no snow at all, just very icy, from a safety point of view traction control is brilliant, but it would be nice to flick the back out from time to time if the mood takes me, impossible in this car though.

Next month...

Then the month after, MV1 wheels, provided i can find a good set...

Then the month after that, mtech II front bumper, again, provided i can find one at a reasonable price, praying i can find one the right colour too so no spraying required...

So the car will go from this...

To this...

Much MUCH better IMO.

You gotta ask yourself the question, what sort of massive saddo would even consider videoing it in the first place?
