Had no idea either.

It's now Clueless Racing. :dopey:

BF2, wonder how it's like, haven't played in ages. Mainly because it runs that bad when it shouldn't really.

Whenever we're expecting some kind of fix for one of the cars or graphical update.. we always get a new car, has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Hmm...sounds like a cunning plan to keep people distracted from issues they moan about for a while.

Anyways, was going to post something similar on one of the Scirocco threads what Kev did on his opening post. I had it all written, but then I went sod it, it doesn't make any difference and didn't hit the post button. But yes, I agree it's been way too long.

Oh dear, the responses in this thread really remind me why Scavier stopped giving out release dates or estimates. Shut up and go back to bed kids, life is tough.

No, I don't really care about the car that much.

I thought the patent office said he didn't have the trademark for it few days ago, although they might have been bribed since then. ;-)

I think the VW and ABS should be countered with something like this thing.

Feel free to make edits if you like.

The last laps on first wins and top positions in LFS and some battles in LX6. You had this tingling feeling in your legs and your heart rate was way too up, good times.

Super Mario Sunshine. Can't tell a specific part, but it's the only game that has made me physically angry. I actually threw the controller in the corner in frustration.

A bit disappointed Hamilton didn't race in the actual race. Well if he isn't even allowed to race a bicycle how could McLaren let him embaress himself with real cars.

Don't understand why they need to make the engines less powerful, is it that expensive to have that old 300 the WRC cars now have? I'm all for more simpler and cheaper technology, but do they have to slow the cars down that much.

Actually, how do you figure out where the limit is if you've got ABS reducing the braking force you're applying?

I'm not sure, but atleast my wheel seems to start shake when I tested it in the FZ5. It's a bit weird, as you should feel that with your foot but then nobody has force feedback pedals that would kick them back.

ABS in LFS, that's blasphemy I tell you!

Is there going to be an option for ABS ban, or is that something you need to have some sort of insim thingy for?

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :You can only see so much out of your mirrors, so when you turn your head to one side to look out the back/side windows you generally only get ~90 degrees of head movement, so the rest of the angle is done with your eyes. That is where one might find it difficult to see.

Rotate your upper body and lean out of your seat a bit?

No wonder you guys have never made much good drivers when it seems so hard and complicated to park a car. :P

I can't think any other reason for banning tire warmers than having some "excitement" and passing after pit stops when drivers have to go on the track with cold tires.

Now I hope they can get rid of the two compound tire rule in the race, let's say make it optional? Also they should get rid off the heavy load qualifying session and really start sorting out drivers on based on best times and not fuel tactics. Would make qualifying much more interesting because you'd see absolute results, now you can only guess who is running heavy and who is not.

Standard components sounds a bit worrying. Cutting cost is also a bit hypocrite, when they have been back and forth changing the rules every second season. Time will tell if F1 stays as the pinnacle of motorsport I guess, doesn't look that good.

Quote from SamH :I wondered the same thing, actually. The camera movement can be handled exactly like this in InSim, so I suspect Scawen prolly just knocked up a quick InSim routine. That's my guess, anyway

Why not Victor? I thought he is a bit of a coder.

Oh yes, thanks for the answer Scawen.

You surely mean a bonsai tree?

edit. Stumbled on this when making sure I'm correct http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banzai_skydive Now that would be a great gift, would get the adrenaline flowing.

So... it'll be a nice patch with some noticeable improvements and the new car, but not really representative of the amount of work that has been done since patch Z.

So are the physics incompatible with Z?

Don't really understand how you need the whole field of view to park a car, but then I do mostly suck at parking cars...

Quote from Crashgate3 :something that *really* irritates me with glasses - you have to turn your whole head, not just your eyes.

Now this is something I don't understand and I hear it quite a lot. I've had glasses for about 12 years now, since 3rd grade, but I don't seem to have that problem. I move my eyes and it doesn't hurt my head nor my vision gets dissorted from the lenses. I feel moving your eyes to the very edges feels sort of uncomfortable anyway, so loosing some field of view where the lens ends is not the end of the world for me. Although that just might be because I'm so used to that and without my glasses really can't see much, and I really mean that, reading without glasses is impossible further than 20 centimeters for me. Might be interesting to try some contacts some day, if they make any bat blind models.

Get your eyes sorted, you never know if you need glasses before you see it.

Quote from Crashgate3 :8.3%! You could run your car off that

Or is that the weird US system that's actually out of 200?

It says ABV on the site which mean alcohol by volume, which is the standard measurement, so no.

Quote from MAGGOT :The LED lights on the GT3 model clearly have no purpose. On ALMS cars they indicate the pit limited being on (which I think is needless, you're in the pits, of course the limiter is on. You shouldn't need flashing lights telling competitors this....) but on the GT3 they serve no purpose. They are full-on while it's on track. This is a needless power drain on the battery. While I, personally, think the LED lights look great, on the race car they're pointless and should be removed.

But considering it's promoting the road I can't see that happening, it's one of the key features of the original car and part of the looks. And power consumption can't be that much, and if it is, they could be just turned off.
