Quote from gezmoor :Maybe I'm being dumb, but looking at the F1 website how did Button qualifiy in front of Barrichello? His times are slower... even in the sector time break down he is slower in every sector than Rubinho. Guess I'll just wait to see the repeat.

Q3 is the only time which matters, and there he was the fastest. I'd bet on the dumb explanation.

Quote from PaulC2K :Rear end problems in Q1.
Someone sounds bitter about last season though

Well, that bullshit writing was a bit irritating last season. Yeaah, rear end problems, lost drive, well, we don't know.

But Brawn GP, wouldn't have believed, and still can't. Interesting to see the fuel loads, but I doubt they were running on fumes.

What's wrong with Hammy? He got out of his car after Q1 and didn't even try.

I'm disappointed if there wasn't anything really wrong with the car. I hope there is going to be some bs rumour mill how he's lost motivation and interest to drive like there was with Kimi last year.

McLaren is so rubbish because they kept developing 08 for so long to win the championship and started on this car so late, this is what Kovalainen said as the reason why the car is so bad.

I think usually Ferrari has been better making their car over the season, but last year Mac had to win and they are now paying the price. Hard to say how it's going to be this year as most testing is banned the whole season. But I guess team with the most fanciest computers can get their new pieces designed.

And Kimi, it just seems that the tail happy cars suit him well. That terrible understeer is gone with the slick tires and smaller downforce at the back.

- So f**king low engine sound (because of 18000Rpm)

I doubt they are even using that much now as it's the one and same engine for the whole weekend. Too bad providing any information about anything the car does seems to be so hard again.

Quote from evilpimp :They should strap Bernie to a chair and slap him in the face one at a time with the rulebook.

No, they should just leave him tied to that chair so he can't hurt anything.

Just a thought to help you out. Once you get out of auto or Program mode, the creative possibilities are only limited to the range of your camera/lens combinations.

Yeah, thanks. It's true that aperture mode would have been better there. Usually use it for when I need to take a picture of a person and there is a lot of stuff happening on the backround. But yeah, just learning my stuff, I think I'm usually just focusing on the two dimensions af the picture and forget the depth too often. I just like the lighting in the picture and the lens flair, which is a bit silly really.

That picture was just some quick ones I took before we left the place, the real reporter I worked with today was on the phone so I just got out of the car and took some pictures in the meantime. I'm an awful noob with this but my pictures can seen by about 7000 people on the local paper twice a week. Again, very silly.

Retarded rule change. Anything worse than that would have been the medal system proposed earlier.

Retarded, simply as that. Taking away all good stuff they've tried to make racing exciting this season, which didn't probably doesn't work, but at least they tried.

I can imagine how teams will slow down and just save their car for the next round if they don't have any chances to win. And some lucky retard d goes winning half of the races plus one and then doesn't finish the rest.

Giving more points to the winner would have been better and more revarding. This is just dumming it down way too much for the retard FIA officials who can't count to 3. Retard is such a nice world damn retards.

Can't you guys make the banner and number plate the same layer so the number plates would have standard size, please. Now it's just a game of guessing what looks good and everyone has messy different sized plates.

Anyway, here is the updated CR skin in high resolution.

The superbikes do have worse coverage than MotoGP. Which is a shame because the races are really nice. The bikes are really tiny on the screen, and as said there isn't any onboard action which makes MotoGP so awesome to watch most of the time.

You could hear more noise I think, which is good!

Now running mental non-restricted UFR on the Concept racing public if anyone is interested.

XFR is also on, but who cares about that.

Unfortunately I had problems with oil pressure again in the longer race.

Too bad the retards started using euro as currency over here. Ok, it's logical but when prices are just converted with chancing the symbol from dollar to euro, the consumer really feels like he's being screwed up in the ass badly.

Makes no sense buying anything from Steam anymore.

Quote from S14 DRIFT :
Most places require nothing more than a good attitude and the will to learn, at least places where younger people would be working. What good is Alegbra if you're working in the motortrade, in the mechanical sector, etc etc?

2) How does one "teach people how to learn". After all, isn't that instinctive, to learn new things.

And it's all relevance. 90% of the things you learn at school are only learnt so you pass the test. Even genius mathematicians use calculators and stuff!

Basic school is meant to provide you with basic understanding, theories and knowledge to go study more and focus on something you like and make a job from it. You narrow the studies down later and then specialise.

It's also meant for learning how to study, some people might not realise that learning isn't just reading and repeating what you read. It's about understanding what you read. I remember people at school who had read the material for a test four times, but still hardly passed the test. It can be hard process, I like to say I learned to read properly three years ago.

Another thing people don't often get is that they are supposed to learn and study for themselves, not for the teacher or your parents or to pass the test. This is of course hard if you don't have the will or motivation, but this might be the reason you don't have it as you are doing it for someone else. Sometimes you need to be an egoistic bastard for your own good.

Well, and using a calculator and knowing what to use it for are two completely different things. Having a calculator doesn't make you an engineer, like knowing how to measure heartbeat doesn't make you a doctor.

Quote from Senninha25 :yeah, but we're gonna miss...what's his name? ah, nevermind.

Kev...and Kev is, or at least used to be awesome while driving the LX4.

Now some pussy feeling has just got over him, and he has left his extensive ball collection to some nephew of him.

Which is sad of course, or not, if he did the post blind drunk like me now, which I doubt as his post actually make sense. Mine doesn't as it's done way too late, but then I'm a pussy who can't speak his mind unless freed by feel of drunknesnseesn. Which actually isn't true but is.

Joke or not I'm very seriuus about this now. Save Kevness on this forum, please!

The Concept racing LX racing nights were made just for you man!

Doesn't make much sense to me, and I'm not that sure I could turn the wheel that fast. Plus I hate understeer above anything to start with.

Probably don't, at least intentionally.

Nice retro video btw.

Arrrgh I so want to start photography and buy a camera, again.

Have wanted to buy one for years. But now the reason is that I've been taking pictures and writing short news bits as a trainee for a local newspaper for a month. And now I'm really sure I want to take photography as a hobby and the camera wouldn't sit useless gathering dust.

Yeah, and a burst of awesome I need to get out. I've been working with an old Canon EOS 350D with some focusing issues. But today I got hold of a spanking new Canon 50D. Must admit I'm rather novice with cameras, but there is just something in the feel of that sort of bulky equipment which makes it feel awesome. It's like shooting with a gun, but the opposite and more awesome, creating and not destroying.

I heard some of you say it's turn-based? Does that mean it plays like a boardgame? You take a step - your enemy takes a step etc. etc. ? If it is... I might have to revise my interest in the game...

Well you got both turn based and real time play.

Moving armies and managing cities (some of this has changed in the Empire) are made on your own turns, could say it's like board game. It's like in Civilizations really.

The battles, unlike in Civilizations are real time strategy. Which you can pause or speed up.

Managing your empire in real time just wouldn't work because there is too much to do, especially when it starts to cover the whole European continent and it would be a game of who can click stuff faster.
