BTW, the final results and all the other stuff will hopefully be posted in the next 5 days. Sorry, I haven't had any time to do anything yet, but as soon as I will be free, I will try to finish the results and so on.

Car #85 had no place to go in this case, he could have braked even more and let you pass, but that would cause him to loose more places and although he still left you room you didn't leave him any room and in this turn it is pretty much obvious what is the result when 2 cars try to take the turn at this speed same time. Car #85 did pretty much everything he could, but unluckily for you, it ended up the way that you flipped, but I would say it was more of your own fault, not VDBs'. No penalty, racing incident.

BTW, just to be clear. I won't let anyone race without driving in qualification unless you had participated in pre-qualifying. So, basically, if you miss qualification and you are not one of the drivers who drove pre-qualifying, don't waste my time and ask me if it is allowed to join etc.

There will be a broadcast for round 7 also, by Thilo Falkenberg (TFalke55).

Even though this is the last round, it is still not known who the winner will be, points in the driver standings are really close, especially starting from place 2 and going lower. For team standings LRT has pretty much secured their 1st position, but it is unknown how the rest of the podium will look like. As for nations, Finland has secured their 1st place, but it is still possible that the rest of the podium will change. I hope you enjoy watching the race and lets hope for close, fast and neat racing!

I know, well probably not many are interested because this photomode competition has been going for a very long time and pretty much nothing different has been happening in it. Last time when this happened, we took a 4 months break and that helped, it continued pretty successfully for another year, but now the inactivity returns again.

Myself I am also very lazy to do anything lately, but I'll see, maybe I can come up with something. I just think this is a great theme and we shouldn't waste it, there could be lots of very cool and interesting edits, so lets make this a week longer and see what happens.

Lets make this one week longer, I don't think there is a point to make voting for only 3 images.
Anyway, it looks like photomode competition probably needs to take a break again since nobody is interested in it anymore, so if there won't be more entries, I might not continue this for some time.

PM's have been sent to all the drivers (hopefully all) with round 6 information. If you haven't received a PM (but you are one of the drivers that pre-qualifie), please ask me and I'll send it to you.

Those who want to participate without pre-qualifying, read the first post here to know what to do.

We will probably use only one server, but in case if we use 2 servers, I will let you know.

Round 7 Information:

Track: Fern Bay Gold reversed (FE3r).
Date & Time: 19.04.2012. (Starting at 18:00 UTC with 20min hardcore qualification)
Only TOP32 drivers from qualification can participate in the race.
Server names for qualification:
Tiger Express Motorsports (For drivers 1-32)
spdo GTi Public (Will only be used if needed.)
Server Password: Will be PM'd.

Sprint race: 9 Laps
Feature race: 17 Laps


Remember to use the right name format and particular drivers to have the ballast on. (There will be no Airio to control that during the official sessions.)
NOTE: There will be a HARDCORE qualification, meaning: You will not be able to use SHIFT+P/SHIFT+S during the qualification, you can only fix your car, add fuel etc. by driving manually to the pits. There will not be any car reset and in case you spectate, you may not rejoin the track again. There will be race director controlling this, but in case race director doesn't work, it doesn't mean you can rejoin the track. (If done so, you will be spectated by an admin and disqualified if ignoring the warning multiple times.)

Chatting is forbidden during the official sessions.
Also, try to respect other drivers on hotlap when you are on outlap.

Skins: You may also send high-res skin you will use for the season via PM. (This is only needed for the pictures which might be made after each round - skins will not be used for anything else).

All drivers who pre-qualified move to an official qualification, which will be held on Thursday (tomorrow) at 18:00 UTC. (Starting with a 20min hard core qualification.)

Since there were only 31 drivers who qualified, anyone who has already scored ... ne point in the standings, but didn't not qualify is allowed to participate in the event, so basically there is already 1 free spot and 5 reserve spots. Just PM me and I will send the password to you. Also those, who haven't qualified and haven't scored any points in previous rounds may race, but you have to let me know and you will only be allowed to participate if there is any spot left in the end.


Also, we will probably use only one server for qualification unless there are more than 32 drivers which I doubt.

Disabling other processes didn't help, same crappy FPS. But thanks anyway.

Pre-qualification information:

Date & Time: Starting at 09:00 (UTC) on Sunday (15.04.2012.) and ending at 17:00 (UTC) on Tuesday (17.04.2012.)
Server name: Tiger Express Motorsports
Server Password: Same as for round 2.

Drivers from this table must use their ballast also during the pre-qualification: CHECK HERE (Disqualification will be given if not using the ballast.)
The rest of the drivers don't have any ballast at all.

Number of drivers to qualify for the official qualification on Thursday: 64 (Meaning, that the TOP64 fastest lap times by the Airio will determine whether you will or not be participating in Round 5 qualification.)

You must qualify with the correct name, and number - as an example in the rule book. (If you qualify with the wrong name, your lap time will be ignored.)
You must also set a lap time with the car you are signed up for the league. (Do not set a lap with both cars to not make a mess in the results, only the car you are signed up with.) (If you set a lap with the wrong car, your lap time will be ignored and if you qualify with both cars you will get a 1 sec penalty and if at the end of the pre-qualification you will not have a valid sign up, you will be disqualified from this round.) -> So, make sure you don't have a red field in your sign up HERE.

Maybe someone from this forum can help me out.
I recently re-installed my windows and I am facing FPS issues now. I used to have Windows XP and now I installed Windows 7. FPS has decreased a lot - on empty track in Windows XP I used to have ~90FPS, now I have 40-60FPS. When I watched a replay with full grid, FPS at some points even fell down to 8 FPS, everything lags etc. On old Windows I had no problem watching replays with full grids and LFS graphics being on highest. Also when playing LFS, pretty much everything was set to highest and there wasn't any FPS problem.

LFS is using up to 3 to 4 times more PC resources than it was using on Windows XP. And I have noticed this issue only with LFS. All the other programs etc. are using less resources than they used to on old Windows and are running better.

All drivers are up to date, everything is updated, not sure what the problem is. Or maybe my PC is not good enough to run LFS on Windows 7 or something?


Any ideas?

No problem. Sorry that I don't have high-res pictures from the future race, something must have gone wrong with Photoshop that I didn't notice. I am just too lazy to make them again although it takes max 5 minutes, so if anyone really needs them, just ask and I will make them later on, but if not, even better for me.

High-res pictures: DOWNLOAD (I accidentally didn't save high-res pictures from the feature race, so there are only pictures from the sprint race.)
