Italian commentary on RAI TV is extremely fair to Hamilton... They keep uttering compliments, saying how good he is being a rookie. Maybe even a bit too much, but in this case for sure it's not bias.
Judging from the cockpit camera, Hamilton is feeling a lot of pressure at the moment. A bit of dirty driving here and there.
And the Ferrari are damn fast.
Exactly. So I don't see that woman owned in any way, I just see someone who refuses to answer to a person who is undoubtedly putting Hamilton's sportsmanship into question, and this is for sure unsettling for Hamilton, but he didn't come out as a winner in this debate. He just refused to answer.
Edit: the most laughable/questionable part was Dennis and Hamilton's father berated at the journalist at the box.
Owned? It doesn't seem so. Anyone reads what he wants, however. What I learned is that if I make a mistake I generally have to pay for it, if I damaged something. Maybe Hamilton has been taught something else in his life.
I read all the thread, and the thread in which you talked about your concept of close racing. I'm able to do simple additions as most people of the forum, and I'm able to read.
And in case you didn't notice: you asked for it, you got it, since the tone of the original post and of all subsequent posts of yours couldn't grant anything else. Don't blame others.
Edit: funny predictions though, like someone predicting "I think I'm going to commit suicide" and he actually does it...
This thread will be locked down because
1) It has wandered wildly off-topic
2) It contains some not-so-nice remarks and a general bad tone
3) The OP requested it and those requests are generally satisfied.
I suppose there are some people who are interested in keeping it alive. For instance me, for amusement and because I like making a mental picture of the reasons someone has to post something. But actually the chances this thread will be kept alive are close to zero.
And I have learned nothing because I already knew what you thought and how you support your opinions. But you've been entertaining enough not to have wasted my time
I just mean that Nobel Peace Prizes are always political since they are awarded to give particular attention to some issues, but they are in some cases utterly undeserved.
For instance people do commemorate 9/11 but they always forget the other 9/11: Chile 1973.
After General Pinochet assumed power, U.S. Secretary of StateHenry Kissinger told U.S. President Richard Nixon that the U.S. "didn't do it," but "we helped." (referring to the coup itself).
Gore will have another tremendous boost in popularity for getting the Nobel but I have good reasons to be wary, especially for his penchant for censorship (anyone remember the PMRC spearheaded by his wife with his not so silent support?) Only the future will tell.
