I'm not going to argue that its not more efficient, but its still not zero emissions and quite often some oil has to be burned of course.

:headbang:

Haha I love how they've specifically outlawed reactors from the allowed engine types.

I'd be very happy if this went ahead, think of the potential for variety.

Quote from Wilko868 :The generation of fuel by fission doesn't actually release any greenhouse gases (that's the actual generation of it, everything else in the plant does).

Yeah I know, just listing other forms of power generation. Fission of course also generates very dangerous waste that has to be kept contained for decades even centuries, and so it is by all accounts a right pain in the arse.

Standard 'Having experience in the industry...' trump card, we've seen it played several times before on this forum by certain other member.

Would be nice to see some tolerance of Western fashion and beliefs in return by predominantly islamic nations. Of course as long as our respective religions teach intolerance that'll never happen.

You think this country is bad then you should see the kind of things you can get locked up for in Dubai.

Quote from Forbin :Maybe not that tiny. Going by land area alone, the British Isles would fit inside only the 4 or 5 largest US states. Granted, they might fit inside California as is.

250 odd miles isn't far when you're talking about weather on a synoptic scale, which I guess is about how far London is from the West coast.

Quote from J@tko :Probably not Oil

Quote :Natural gas-fired power plants typically account for more than one-half of State electricity generation.

Not oil, but not clean enough to be very smug about.

Quote from -NightFly- :windmill, sea, sun???

Oil, gas, coal, fission?

In that shot you can't see the enourmous clouds of smug coming out the back.

Also, where does this guy think his electricity comes from?

Quote from danowat :South East?, Atlantic?

The whole British Isles is influenced by it much more than central mainland Europe. At the moment our humid weather is being caused by air which has been pulled up from tropical regions of the Atlantic via France and Spain.

By right next to I meant the UK as a whole.

Quote from -NightFly- :mosquitos are more tempted by humidity not so much by hot weather(not sure about tropical mosquitos though), long hot and dry season could dramatycally shorter their lines.

True but being right next to the Atlantic means whenever its hot its always humid. And the last few summers have been very wet too, the dry weather at the moment dosen't seem to be killing them.

The South East is currently in the middle of a five year giant mosquito plague, their remains are scattered all over the walls of my room.

I hate hot weather so much, think I might move to Scotland. Hopefully it should break later tonight in the form of thunderstorms and much needed rain.

Quote from MAGGOT :My assumption was it would more be in the form of different approaches to wings, kinda like hose the current front wing and nosecone is a separate unit; the teams could modify the wing (with very strict regulations). I assumed it would along those lines.

They're allowed to change body panels as well.

Quote from Eldanor :LOL, at least in summer, you can bet!

Yeah, we stopped going because every year it seemed to get more and more like my hometown, which is a shame because its a lovely country really.

He didnt steal it, he won it through luck.

What is wrong with people these days that can't accept that somebody has to lose?

I'd say pretty soon there will be more English people in Southern Spain than Spanish people anyway.

Yeah I do

...To be honest its tough luck for Schleck, in other forms of racing if your car/bike/etc breaks you can't expect everyone to wait for you, so why in cycling?

Quote from zeugnimod :7 cars in 2 years??

They keep getting torched by angry mobs most likely.

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :The Stig was born somewhere in the 20th century

The correct term is 'built'.
