if you go to assign a pedal but instead of pressing the pedal, press delete. once you have 0 controls assigned, start assigning them to your likings.
Got it working perfectly now, just having a go at all of the cars. The Subaru with 400bhp is a monster.
RSRBR downloads comes already patched with 03 and 05.
There is an "ALL CARS" car pack. You only need the mod installer and that pack.

Both installations are straight forward after selecting the right path. How can it be a pain? (apart from taking like 10 minutes to complete the installation)

you forgot to mention that the mod requires you to uninstall the old one and uninstall rbr. then install rbr, make sure it's patched. then download the mod. make sure that rbr is not installed on your windows drive. then download the car packs (because the full car pack link was unavailable).
did i mention the reboot after the uninstall?
me and franky are planning on doing some stages in a few hours (8pm uk time). the server will be called ATC LFS 123. all are welcome.
cars are:
Lancia Delta
Escort Cosworth
BMW M3
Impreza
Celica
(its under pack A8_2)
Tried to join, it kept spitting me an error about my time being wrong, even though it's not. Anyway, the server is full by now anyway.
the time has to be set to the same as the SERVER time. so 1 hour ahead deko .

Its all finished anyhow, dadge won, i came second. was a nice session
Cool Franky, thanks. Let me know if you're running another one, never played RBR online before.
will deffinately be one tomorrow night some time. one of us will post back then.

You still drive alone, but its a 1 time shot, and your times are put against each other.
Sounds like fun, it's a pity I'm absolutely terrible at Rally driving. I'm fine on the tarmac, but throw it off the road every time I see a bit of gravel
oh dear...
I'm just completely out of practice, haven't driven on RBR for years, I just happened to find the disc today at the bottom of a drawer. What kind of stages do you usually run? Just so I can get a little practice in so I don't embarrass myself

I used to be the opposite in RBR; Good on gravel, shite on Tarmac. Now I'm fairly competent on all kinds of surfaces unless they're really bumpy (Japan, One British stage, etc). I miss RBR Haven't played in weeks. I need to get my wheel over to my new condo.

Moved in with the GF... I don't forsee much RBR in my immediate future.

I'd love to get an online session in with you guys, though... Maybe I should setup RBR on my secondary drive with RSRBR just for that... Do you guys drive the 2011 WRC cars at all? That WRC Fiesta is a bloody riot!
i drive anything mate. i'm more into the group N stuff but as i always say, "a race is a race".

Oh yeah, I remember how my RBR install went nuts after trying to install the 2011 and had to reinstall it. I thought that was an isolated issue, as the 2010 exe where deleted after months of playing by the antivirus

I had it installed in "C:\Richard Burns Rally", just as LFS.
session created for tonight. 10 rounds. Session opens at 8:30 UK time. first course opens at 8:45 UK Time (9:30 / 9:45 server time in France) Using the A8W06 car pack (WRC 2006 cars).

Skoda Fabia
Mitsubishi Lancer
Peugeot 307
Citroen Xsara
subaru Impreza
Ford Focus
if you plan on joining, don't forget to click on the "change clock" button first.
Scooby Do or Ford Fok-us.....
I wish i had a working wheel just so i could play this game

Guess i could try with the ps3 controller.

I remember doing online tournaments awhile back. You could win by driving slow and waiting for everyone else to crash
Installed everything, definitely want to get involved!
Definately try to do one soon
i'll get a chat with Franky. i'll try to get a race sorted for about 8:30pm uk time?
I'm in. Just got the game a couple days ago and suddenly lfs community seems to be back in it! Was just playing on bmxtwin's server and it was pretty fun. Definitely a lot easier with the ps3 controller than the keyboard on the snow!
Al right, so I installed RBR...

Can anyone recommend what mods or whatever they're called to install?

There's the 2011 pack or something? Can anyone help me get started?

I've installed the latest patch

EDIT: Also what's the best wheel rotation degree to use? 540?
you need to install RSRBR2011:

main RSRBR2011 mod: http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewtopic.php?f=349&t=6626

RSRBR 2011 v3 update (required): http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewtopic.php?f=351&t=7762
RSRBR 2011 V5 update (required, install AFTER v3): http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewtopic.php?f=351&t=8436

Optional car packs: http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewforum.php?f=350 (i believe that the pack we are using tonight "A8W_06" is part of the rsrbr mod anyway however)

Make sure this is not installed on your windows drive / program files. apparently it might not work (dadge knows more).

Session has been set to open at 20:20 GMT with the first race starting at 20:35 GMT

11 Rounds.

i think i might setup a leader board, perhaps a weekly / fortnightly champion.

it will not continue with the installation unless rbr is installed on......we've covered that it.
