You can download 'Poser' or 'Daz studio'
The women look like from one of those poser figure. You can adjust her pose in one of those programme (they were made for that) Once you are happy with the pose, then export them to OBJ format (include textures maps). Which you can then import to 3Ds max. Simple!
But if you want to adjust them inside 3ds max, you will need to apply modifier like 'biped' and 'Physique' to allow a bone structure created for the figure, then you can bend the arms and legs as you want. However, that require more advanced skill to do. Where as 'Poser' is already made for that.
You probably can download some figures that are already 'biped' rigged for use inside 3ds max
