Some pics from this Saturday. Went to see my friend's race horse and snapped couple of shots there. Hope you like 'em.

Some recent back-to-basics black and white darkroom (digital variety) stuff from me:

Love the top 3 but the bottom one seems to still look to "digital". Can't put my finger on why though.

Did you feed the sheep Ready Brek?

I'm not sure why that is. I used the time-honoured tradition of burning the sky, Ansel Adams (my hero) style.

[edit] Here's another using the same technique:

hehe! I think someone did! :o)
I've been studying Ansel Adams for my A level dissitation and I must say, one of the best photographers I've ever seen.

Ditto. I'm in awe of his work - particularly love his Yosemite photos.

Have you tried sharpening up a bit the bottom of the image 3?
Quote from Yuri Laszlo :Have you tried sharpening up a bit the bottom of the image 3?

I was actually thinking of softening the image overall The branches are more harsh than I think they should be. The lower half of the image could do with a bit of burning, maybe.
Two I took.

I'm here with Sony DSC-H50. Not D-SLR, but very good indeed. I don't have any pictures alredy uploaded, and I'm too lazy to upload some, so you'll have to satisfy yourself with picture of my camera. http://www.dphotonews.com/images/cms/sony_dsc_h50_01.jpg
I have enough strenght to write some specs.
9,1 MP, 15X optical zoom, up to 81X digital zoom (30X with stabilization), 3" screen (tiltable up and down), face detection, smile shutter, cyber-shot, super-steady shot, auto-focus, unique battery (longer life then usual batteries), really fast USB connection... If you want to know something else, just ask. I would recommend it to anyone who does not have enough money to buy D-SLR and wants to have a good camera.
Some random pics from my new camera.... It's quite difficult to get a crisp image of a moving car ...

Probably incredibly boring, but I was doing some product shots last night for lenses I'm selling at Pentaxforums' marketplace, and I really liked how this one came out:

Loving the reflections
Quote from StableX :Did you feed the sheep Ready Brek?

I know it was like an age ago, but that was an epic comment.

Yeah, good old Pentax SMC coatings.

That's ISO1000, 1/30sec, f/4 with the Tamron 17-50mm.
Some random pictures from Stansted today, the camera had a difficult time focusing on the planes because of the fence, and it was flipping freezing to keep the camera steady.

Depends on your camera. If you have cyber-shot, it shouldn't be a problem.
