Lfs is the rolling stone among the Sims....Thumbs up

absolutely....in cold weather the wind somehow works twice. Use strong fans, you can also regulate them down if necessary. This is very easy to do with Simhub.

Quote from Meseplayer :Hi guys.

Has anybody used a windsimulator with LFS, and does it work properly on all cars?

Meseplayer

Yes it works normally with Simhub. I haven't tested all the cars, but actually it has nothing to do with which car you drive. As far as I know, this is only due to the telemetry sent. For Simwind, this is the driving speed. Just like bass shakers...

However, I personally only recommend it in VR mode. On the monitor or television, the effect is not immersive. But in VR it's amazing.

The Progress Report has shown me personally how complex and extremely difficult software development is.

I admit I really understood very little about it...but it's always very gratifying that your efforts just seem endless and tireless. Man, I didn't even really understand how to really configure and use the changes in the TestPatch. I only really learned one thing. Go play and let the man do his job. Even if some developments seem strangely unnecessary to me, I now know that you always have better arguments and reasons why things happen the way they do.

I'm still happy to see a development report after all these years. A wonderful tranquilizer. Especially if I don't understand a real word....Big grin

small idea...
The repair time could be proportional to the length of the race. So it would still have its functionality in short races, and its credibility in long-term races.

I tested around 2-3 hours, oh man the time just flew by. I haven't had so much fun with Lfs for a long time. And I still had fun with it. This patch and the mods take LFS to a veeery other level. Thumbs up

I have also been using the LAN function for years, but with 3 different accounts.

Sure, some miss this feature, but in view of the facts, this is an absolutely understandable development.

I'm just waiting for the "big patch" to buy a fourth account ... just to put some weight on the other side of the scale.

After almost 20 years ..... I feel almost obliged to ......

Quote from Federico Testa :you're right. I did not know how to model them properly. I'm going to replace the body with a better one with roof now as well.

If you can do it, let's keep a convertible version too.
Because we only have the MRT & UFR as convertibles.
And in VR, the convertibles give us a nice view of the race and the track.

Quote from BlueFlame :Without being rude, isn't this just the vehicle dynamic counterpart of an xrg without a fixed roof and a touch more power? Shrug

It feels like instead of filling a gap in LFS's current content, its shoehorning something into a tiny crack instead.

I had hoped mod-ability would encourage people to give LFS things that it has never had. Indycar, V8SC GroupA touring car and various IMSA GTO and Trans Am replicas. And I guess it has but not as much as I'd hoped it would

LFS has an abundance of road cars.

Am I missing the point? Maybe I am. I don't know.

It always takes a bit of time for the modders to familiarize themselves and implement their experience in future plans. Give the boys 2-3 months. It will be fine. And no, an XRT swims significantly more when drifting than the MX5 (my opinion)
And at the same time, these cars don't feel completely alike. Both rear-wheel drive with low power. There are overlaps.

I drove around for an hour or so First of all ... the car is really fun!

I've driven this car for a few years ... so I know it a little bit.
Unfortunately, the vehicle is a bit too stiff. In the straight with slight steering movements it remains too rigid.

The problem is, I don't have enough specialist knowledge and the English language to describe it exactly. I'll try it anyway ...

I just chose South City Cikane to test it as best I can. The car just doesn't want to be agile (enough) in the "small" curves and movements. The chassis remains too hard. But then all of a sudden the MX5 Leo wakes up in the first and last hairpin bend. And how! Man I really have at home loud "yeah!" roared. Without shit 😅 There, in the hairpin bends and in the drift, I might have guessed the car even without a body. Simply wonderful in these situations. As I said, I didn't find much time and didn't even experiment with the setup at first. I wanted to look at it raw before I possibly adjust something right away. I would be happy if you stay tuned. The car definitely has potential. Thanks very much

Quote from Federico Testa :You're right, right now out of the box is quite pleasant to drive. Actually better than the AC one already. I can imagine that the specs suggested by the others could make it really like the IRL one.

Excellent!

I love this car in Assetto so much.
And that although the Assetto engine seems to be more suitable for GTR sports cars.
The chassis (measured by the ForceFeedback) is much shorter and harder to feel in the Assetto Engine than in the LFS. Maybe this is due to the limited physics of Assetto. The cars don't tip over ectect. And it is precisely with this vehicle that you can feel this limitation. Because in my opinion the Mazda fluctuates so much and borders on this.

With LFS it could get really awesome and legendary. Because the car itself is SuperFun ..... even in Assetto.

I have a very good feeling about this car and the LFS engine.

Somehow they go very well together. The soft chassis of the Mazda and the way LFS simulates things like that ... Mhmm that could work wonderfully "out of the box."

Very good choice Thumbs up

I know it is definitely a completely different construction site and I do not want to kidnap the topic, but it is worth addressing it here.

May we hope that sometime the in-game layout editor will eventually be "opened" for modding?

After physics and graphics, AI would be the biggest construction site for me personally.

I know it's called online racing ... but when you have as little time to drive and practice as I do ... you just want a "ToGo" gaming experience.

I've been driving through this game on my own for what feels like a decade. But for a few years now I've been seduced by the competition. Mainly because of the significantly better Ai

Why do you make politics out of it?

Of course it's stupid when small children are propagandized.

But how often have you talked about American children vacationing with the family at a shooting range here in the LFS forum? Never bet! Prove that you are more mature than these 13 year olds by not counting this for an entire country.

The problem lies entirely elsewhere. In Turkey there are shops and stores everywhere that seem to sell pirated films and games with impunity. This creates the impression that games and films are very inexpensive. There is a social acceptance of the cheap acquisition of such goods. It should perhaps be mentioned that games and films are a "luxury good" and not a livelihood. This is especially true for simulations with steering wheels and the like. I have often met children and schoolchildren on Turkish servers and I think they are only complaining about here. Because someone who works so hard must have completely different problems to deal with than thinking about the prices of a computer game. In my opinion, students here complain about their pocket money.

Honestly, dear people .... the streets in Turkey are full, full of real cars! Turkey is not that poor to buy a simulation that has been worked on with passion for 20 years. There are also poor people in Germany, England and France ... they only buy Assetto for 5 euros in the sale. All of this casts a bad shadow over Turkey. I also come from there and know enough people who can afford a lot through work.

Also a game. Shrug

Some "little" things:

For example: Some pre-configured racing combinations like GTR races or road vehicle races or, or, or (we old users can do that, but beginners lose themselves in the OptionsMonster LFS)

Or some preconfigured routes / cars combinations that have proven to be particularly suitable.

Or the possibility of holding a championship with a point system.

In short, some interesting racing pre-configurations.
