Yes, the AI may not have changed ... .. but if you take
a mixing field of 5Level and 4Level AI's you can sometimes have a lot more interesting races. The whole thing is also a bit of luck .... because sometimes there is a worse "first corner war" than on the Internet
In any case, the AI Train is no longer recognizable after 1-2 laps. Great!
Sometimes it was really difficult to overtake them accident-free because they now started to overtake themselves and block the way. Rarely had such fun with the LFS AI!
A little fine update for me because I often use the AI.
(tested with XRT on Rockingham with various layouts.)
Okay, after a few hours of testing, I would say I liked the filtered view the most. Lock on the horizon is too much for me personally. But in the filtered view, the vehicle gets a little more movement and live in the cockpit. At the same time, some small hops are now more clearly traceable to the force feedback (visual and haptic) At least this is my first impression ....
My favorite thing would be if the vehicle and the driver were moving up and down at the same time. Both for themselves. But I think that's technically impossible. Maybe with a MotionRig ....... (as @MagicFr already mentioned)
It would be great if we could get some lamps and lights for the Layout Editor as well. I know it's very early to ask for such things. But early planning is not the worst idea when it comes to programming (At least I think so)
I read that you have to define your own screen resolution to activate the 120 hertz.
Furthermore you should absolutely use the App Moonlight with Trinus VR if you have an Nvidea card to double the frame rate. TrinusVr without Moonlight is not really Playable....
Yes, the development is slow ...... but that's exactly why LFS has become so brilliant. While other developers like Kunos publish one DLC after another and already work on the next simulation, LFS is perfecting perfectionism. No to all points. LFS is special for everything else we have Kunos & co, which of course are also super. But different. I would not criticize Pcars for his exaggerated graphics, or Assetto for his Immensen laserscan content. So I dare not criticize LFS of its strengths. A slow but flawless evolution
I'm like Tom Hanks, lost in "Cast away" somewhere in nowhere.
I sleep in front of the garage gate of Blackwood .... like the Apple fans in front of the Apple stores. Sure is sure .... in the end there is a clearance sale and there are not enough updates for all ...
