This is pathetic, and it happens anytime someone post a suggestion for anything

close to, for wont of a better word, controversial. Ovals, drift cars or tracks, muscle cars, etc.

Every time someone posts a suggestion as such, people start acting like

two-year-olds and blast and flame them. The suggesters in turn start acting like

two-year-olds themselves and the thread descends into the fiery depths of forum

hell. Maybe if you people were open minded once in a god damned while there

might be intelligent discussions about what would be beneficial to add to LFS.

Quote from lap traffic nz :Everyone knows the only corners in the USA are the left hand curves on NASCAR tracks

Watkins Glen, Sonoma, Portland, Leguna Seca, Road Atlanta. New Jersey

Motorsports Park, Limerock Park, Virginia International Raceway Are all

purpose built road courses. Then there are oval tracks with road course

configurations suck as Daytona, Homestead, Pheonix, Indy, New Hampshire,

and others.

I guess it shows how little we truely know about aerodynamics when I,
a senior in high school with one semester of physics, know almost as much as
you engineering people.(notice i said almost)
Kinda makes me not want to get on a plane ever again.

Quote from 510N3D :(just guessing here)

Me too lol. The air that is passing through though would
probably create turbulence though as the pressure lowers to fill the void created by the spoiler and rear of the car.

Possibly, but that would be detrimental to the rear downforce to have air travel under the spoiler.

It is the same concept as air traveling under the car itself, i believe, and would create lift under the spoiler.

It's low pressure, not negative pressure.

I don't believe the low pressure behind the second car acts on the first car,
and the second car overcomes it due to the reduced drag.

Make sure there is no dust in your comp. That was my problem.

Quote from Eleanor SpeedGT :Most of LFS forum members are ruined. Yes RUINED!

And I tell you how: A simple example of someone is suggesting a car, and others respond: Oh ricer ricer oh -1 -1...Every car isn't ricer and you can't say (insert car mark name here)=RICE etc.

With this stage at LFS, pretty much every car would be good to have, I understand when we already have like 100 cars. But right now we have 19 IIRC, so the more the better, right?

I know I am not the best explainer and not the best person to bring examples, so it's quite hard for me to explain this well.
Anyways I am seeing alot of ignorance here. If anyone has some good explanation or answer to my post, then feel free to post here or anything. Im not shouting, just thinking loud.

Well, the addition of a Supra GTR car would just add to the GTR
class, but not really bring anything new to LFS as it would handle
similar to the the other GTR cars. Right now, LFS needs more
variety, so you have it backwards. Once LFS has 100+ cars, it would
be More benificial to give more variety inside a particular class.

not a bad idea.

Either processor should be fine for LFS, even for s3 (probably).
If your going with an 8 series card, you will want to go with Vista to
take advantage of the new DX10 technology, which I've heard ASR
will be taking advantage of, though not at the initial release.
If your not really stretched for cash, you might also want to run duel graphics cards, which will also require a compatible motherboard.
Someone else with a little more knowledge should be able to help you more,
especially with an apropriate PSU and cooling, but i'd thought i'd give my input anyway.
Good luck.

Quote from lizardfolk :
Oh Tony Steward is a big jerk. when someone checks up you dont just plow through him -_- Plus even if you dont have time to react you shouldn't but blame on other people like that

Yeah, I've pretty much had it w/ Stewart and Kyle Busch.
They need to get there heads outa there butts and stfu.

EX. Kurt Bush hit Tony in the 500 (same situation)
Busch was very gracious(sp?) and took the blame. Tony shoulda learned from that.

(Just venting some of my frustrations, don't mind it)

Quote from ste_ :7) Please sort the connection list (pressing N twice) into two parts.. people racing and people spectating.

The part of the connection list that shows whether the racer is on a wheel, mouse etc will be blank if they are specing.
But +1 at 3-6.
