Still pissin it down in GP2 FP.
Enjoying watching the British team practise syncronised swimming at Silverstone in GP2 today, interesting seeing how many of them are pushing to the absolute limit and ending off the track - same was seen in Gp3. Anyway, I hope it's wet for the whole weekend, will be good to see the grid really muddled up. Impressed by the turn out also!
Wonderful, a proper wet weekend.
Quote from N I K I :Wonderful, a proper wet weekend.

Let me guess, you think Schumacher can win?
3rd fastest in FP2. And in a highly unpredictable season I wouldn't write anything off, no matter how subjective you are about a particular team and / or driver.

Bottas has impressed this year in my opinion, quicker than Maldonado in Fp1 also at Silverstone - shame there won't be room at Williams for him for the next few years with the funding flooding in from Brazil and Venezuela.
He's been fastest in other events in FP but he didn't win the race. FP times are irrelevant with varying fuel loads and the unpredictability of wet weather especially.
Bingo - wet weather makes it unpredictable, therefore you cannot rule anybody out. Even Caterham who had Kovalainen in 7th in Fp2. Alonso, Hamilton, Schumacher and Grosjean being my tips for success this weekend.
Schumacher will have very good pace, but I imagine he will get caught in an incident (may or may not be his fault) that puts him at the back or completely out of the race.
(Semi-)Wet race and Pereretz
Jenson out of Q1.
I thought Schumacher was a rain master? He's gone off more than anyone else..

Yet still did a lap quicker than Alonso and Massa.

Maybe him reversing almost across the track scared them :P
Does the 4 hours maximun duration applies on qualifying?

I read that once the session has started, it has to either be completed or just take the positions drivers are right now and make that the starting grid. No possibility for a Sunday qualifying.
I hope it's not gonna be my hat eating time...

EDIT: Didn't think so.

Khm, P3? So I heard Hamilton is a rain master. Cool story bro.

Quote from BlueFlame :I hope it's not gonna be my hat eating time...

Good Appetite.
The rainmaster will show something special tomorrow i bet
Alonso flying. Sweet lap. Schumi on the second row again.

McLaren / Hamilton... what the hell. Full wet setup? From fastest to slowest in an instant.

Should be fun tomorrow.

Slow first split cost Schumacher pole there. Oh well, Alonso is just in another world this season.

Cockup with the full wets. Lacking that extra lap on inters...
Awesome job Fernando. Too bad Lewis and Button.

Bring on the rain tomorow!

Perhaps. Just one lap too late. Made up 0.7 in the rest of the lap though.
Can't wait for the race to start!
Let's just hope it doesn't get red flagged and delayed for x hours ... I gotta work in the morning ...

Go Schumi!
Hopefully Race control doesn't go Safety Nazi and we actually have a good wet race for the first time in 5 years.
