It really doesnt. The only lesbian character who isn't bisexual is the little ditzy blonde - every other female character claims to be bisexual. A necessary caveat to appeal to male viewers. *sigh*

I quite like the ditzy blonde though, so i'm giving it a chance to either A) warm itself to me, or B) in any way remotely relate to lesbian life.

I'm surprised you took me of all people seriously.

It was meant to come across rather tongue in cheek as in terms of quality it is absolutely shite, however most boys my age that I know typically love it because they get to see tits and arse.

Neh i'm just expressing my disdain for the one segment of television broadcasting set aside for "my niche". It follows a pretty damning report about the BBC's broadcasting of homophobia and negative portrayal of homosexuality across it's programming so the BBC have responded with Lip Service... Which is a pretty apt description of how they're plugging the gap in their programming by producing a lesbian show about bisexuals with lots of girl on girl sex scenes in it.

I just watched episode 3, the plot is getting more interesting with Frankie at least.

Tits and arses or not, I can't stand watching bad TV. It actually enrages me how dumb people can be. Do you lot have Jersey Shore o'er there across the pond? It makes me want to kill. Worst, still, there's actually people like that in the world.

Oh I totally agree, don't be getting the wrong idea, I am not taken in by what is basically porn with a small amount of (poor) acting thrown in, which is basically what porn is anyway.

I am just amused by a lot of the boys I know talking about it and watching it religiously, when these are lads that have never been laid and are unable to get a girlfriend... mainly because they're too busy banging one out to that shite on telly. It's just funny how they say they would "ruin her" when actually they wouldn't even know where to put it.

And how this gets approved for TV? Well, Maybe they all got drunk at a pub and where like "Yo, Lets do this" I mean, If you had a company and all you could do was make money, I'd most likely make stupid shit to. ( Hell no, but I'm just saying what their point of view is)

Didn't think it'd be that difficult to understand. Porn usually contains some kind of poor acting within in it, so I was relating it to basically what Lip Service is like, although if you're going to take me seriously on that, it does contain more acting than sex scenes, just about.
