Wich kind of cars would you like in s3???
well i open this post to see wich cars would people want improved in final s3 , and who knows.... Scawen can see this and put the most desired cars for lfs user .

My preferences are Racing Trucks, , Sports Prototives (fasters than gtrs ), a autocross kart, WRCs and karting.

Dream is so cheap
More road cars Like the imports people like to mod and stuff. Maybe the devs could add some simple spoiler on/off features. Not anything too flashy, but something simple!
Everything from 1930's GP cars to pickup trucks. Not karts though.
jap cars (supra mk3 & mk4, old skylines maybe? celicas, old and new) american muscle, german cars (AUDI!! hehe! Mercedes C and E-class, 3 & 5 series BMW)

just some of what i wish we had to choose from.. but when (if?) cars can be modeled by us, i think i'll start a little audi-project!
latelly i'm having loads of fun with cars i never drove before (not even in S1), the kind of fun i didn't get from faster car races. I drove the FXO first time yesterday and im in love with its races.

so, we have tons of tracks, tons of cars..... whats missing?
perhaps categories
we have normal road cars, GTr's, SS...

i would like non-modern cars.... true beasts from the 80's and early 90's
Ford Escort Cosword type of cars
ooooh! i'd LOVE to see a sierra or an escort coscorth in LFS! BUT, the car i'd love more to see, is the urquattro or maybe the later S2 coupe!
-A sports prototype.

-An early 80's turbo Formula 1 car.

-Some sort of exotic car. McLaren F1 like. Gobs of power, but still a road car.

-A RWD car to compete with the UF GTR and the XF GTR, with slicks and no aero.

-A muscle car perhaps? Obscene torque, but nasty handling.

That sums it up, I guess.

says he with Demo Racer under his name... NOT that i am implying anything

anyway, S3... a FWD Touring car or 2 (BTCC/WTCC) you know the kind i mean, truck racing will be fun aswell!
Karts, & Motorbikes. I'm nto overly keen on either but it would make sense to expand in those areas.

Oh and V8 Utes (pickups)
Before I mention anything else, The class of cars I think is missing the most, and is the next natural evolution of what should be stuffed into S3, is the 'supercar' class. McLaren F1, Ferarri Enzo, Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg, Porsche Carerra GT. I'm dying to find out how crappy a 2 ton car tuned for super mega high top speeds would handle on Aston Cadet.

Secondly, I do find historical F1 car to be appealing. Anything from the 80's especially. 1300hp in qualifying anyone?

Racing trucks? Sweet cheesus. No thanks. If something like an SUV or pickup truck is put in, I hope it's only for educational value (a lot of people have very very very distorted views on just how far this 'car handling' of them goes).

Hmm.. some shitty muscle car with solid rear axle american style would be funny actually. I wonder if the physics engine can simulate flexing chassis? That'd be awesome. Teach people a bit about shitty chassis design.

Lastly I can say, that in general, the Group C type circuit race cars, the Group B rally cars, and the legendary Turbo F1 cars are pretty much among the most wanted in a very large group of racing enthusiast circles. Sooner or later, it'd be very fun to get one's hands on that sort of thing.
-Something like a Ford Lightning pick-up

-An old 80s style car, such as a mustang or charger

-Something like an M3, has big power, is a family saloon and RWD, but will blow your head off. The FZ50 is nice, but is lacking a bit grip in my opinion.

-Anything that doesnt have a turbo, too many of the faster cars in LFS are turbo'd i would like to see some normally aspirated quickish cars.
Some actually want to race trucks? May I ask what the appeal is? I wish to get to know more on what goes on in your minds.
Its big, its heavy, it goes like stink and i just have a feeling it would make aggressive races better. Cars like the BF1 are good but are too delicate to get into a good scrap as one hit and youve lost it a lot of the time.

That makes sense. What about a NASCAR vehicle then? Oval racing is pretty popular on LFS, maybe it's time they added something like that to please that crowd? I hear those cars are good at 'wrestling'. lol
Quote from Mikkomattic : McLaren F1

I definally want this car in LFS!!! That would be very sweet

I am extremely surprised one hasnt been released to be honest, the ring and FO8/BF1 isa popular combination.
shifter karts please! I Road race these things on car tracks and it is great fun because the draft is so important, you get the chance to work in groups, and the corners are very fast since the track is so wide.

Another cool car would be one of the incredibly fast can am race cars from the 70s or 80s, not exactly sure but im thinking of the ones that created a vacuum underneath the car with suction. The cars died out because they were too deadly but in a virtual world theres no worries there!
Something with some balls.

We dont have to pay for gas in LFS... whats the deal with these 2 liter 4 bangers? What kind of GTR runs a 2.0L anyways?

So sign me up for GroupC, Killer-Bee's, or an old-school Can-Am or Trans-Am car.
Rally! 4WD, 400hp, dirt. I believe LFS may not be able to support point-to-point rally stages as such, but why not some special stage type dirt courses, or large dirt courses through trees or whatever? A souped-up RB4 and a couple of other 4WDs to compete with it would be very cool
If Scavier wanted to release a separate title called LFS: World Rally - a dedicated rally sim with point-to-point stages - I wouldn't object ... hmm, it's a nice dream anyway

Bikes? No. How would you simulate racing a bike for someone who's most likely sitting down behind a steering wheel?
Trucks/utes? Maybe. Limited appeal. Could be fun though!

Prototypes? Hell yes. Le Mans style cars would be insanely good - BMW has one and LFS has a new relationship with BMW ...

Retro-style muscle cars? Hell yes, why not. They did fictional muscle cars for Interstate '76...which brings me to my next point: arm us to the teeth! Wrecker Patrol SWAT Team!
vintage car racing
truck racing
go kart racing
ford rs200 rally cross/ rally racing
le mans 24 hours endurance

RC racing in the car park!!!! heh that would be a laugh

i dont care really, whatever we get is good, the more the merrier.
All.

Big grin Nuff Said.
haha

you dun it this time rodders!
