The online racing simulator
Just a reminder that at 1750 GMT, the second round of FIA GT is started at Adria Raceway... Earlier today, Wendlinger got Pole 3 tenths of a second before the two Maseratis, and the Brixia Porsche of Martin Ragginger snatched Pole - the first time for Porsche at this track...
missed the race yesterday for fia GT K+K had a bad one i read.
watched the race last night, what a beautiful track!
Might not fit THAT well into here - anyway, a reminder that the ADAC 24h race is on this weekend... And you can watch the whole race live on the internet: http://adac.24h-rennen.de/news ... 24h-live-im-internet.html (news bulletin in german) There will be two streams which will require DSL, the higher quality one even 2 Mbit download capacity... They'll be streaming from Saturday 15:30 to Sunday 16:30...

Additionally, you'll be able to watch where the cars are on the track on a live track map from GPSauge.de: http://adac.24h-rennen.de/news ... auge-auf-der-strecke.html (also in german) It has to be said though that only teams who choose to run the transmitter will be displayed - so it might be pretty scarce...
Is Radio LeMans going to do any commentary this year? If so I might have both the video stream and RLM running all weekend...

Gotta say, thats a pretty good start to the driver line up
Quote from deggis :... and then rumours about Acura leaving (Nick Wirth wants to get back to F1)

Oh for christ sake...
Webstream for the ADAC 24h is online... It's only ads at the moment, the real stream should start in a few minutes... I could make out two streams, both seem to be the standard DSL-stream... Anyway, here the URL to both streams (like last year really):

http://wige-iptv.com/cms/livecast/24h/live3-4.asx
http://wige-iptv.com/cms/livecast/24h/live7-8.asx

The live map is also online at http://events001.gps-explorer.de/ More teams than I expected to show, seems a bit slow though and the map itself fails to load...

Thanks! Radio Le Mans and this stream goes perfectly!
I got up early enough to see the start of the race (10am here) and I wound up taking a piss as they crossed the line for the green flag... Figures.

I, too, have the video stream and RLMS going nicely.

[EDIT] Seems that Radio LeMans is about 15 seconds behind the video stream...
what is that blue light on almost every car's windshield for?

They warning the slower cars that are about to be lapped.
Quote from el pibe :what is that blue light on almost every car's windshield for?

The top 20 qualifiers had these blue warning lights installed so slower cars know they're being lapped by one of the 20 fastest cars on track.

Mhhmm, That Scirocco is a beauty
=(... no onboard camera during night or what ?
Nope, Most of the night it stays in the pits + main straight
Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame
Quote from BenjiMC :Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

Yeah...

You may not have noticed, but the only times there were anything else than static cameras and the odd interview were when the race was broadcasted on DSF, a german sports channel... So the next time you'll see something other than s/f-straight and paddock will be on Sunday from 13:00 to the finish...
aren't any teams running onboards?
