Quote from sam93 :How good do you reckon Red Bull and Brawn will be when Mclaren have their car sorted out? I reckon the front runners at the moment will be chasing the Mclaren, I'm not saying this because I'm a Hamilton fan, I'm saying this because Mclaren have a lot more money and better resources to produce a lot better car. Hopefully their new aero package which should be ready in time for the Spanish GP will put them back on the front row.

I seriously doubt that Brawn will be chasing down McLaren. Fair enough McLaren have the money to through at the problem compared with the smaller teams, but why should they pay their way out of their problems? Formula 1 in the current state it’s enough is all about cost cutting, not Ferrari + McLaren buying themselves out of situations.

They are so confident that it will be finished by Spain. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some reliability problems, due to them rushing to meet the deadline.

We’ll have to wait and see but I’ve got my money on Brawn still being ahead for the majority of the season.

The Race – What is there to say? It was fantastic!

It’s a shame about Massa’s race, Ferrari’s various reliability problems need to be sorted soon. According to Formula1.com it was an electrical problem he suffered.

Sutil drove a fantastic race no question about that. It’s a shame the way it ended, I’m not really sure if it was his fault to be honest. The car aquaplaned?

The Commentary - Well … Brundle was excellent as usual. As for Legard well he wasn’t that good, I feel he’s slightly improving every race we go to. I’m sure he’ll stop doing his ‘radio’ commentary by the end of this year hopefully.

I’m still surprised at the sheer speed of the RB5 today. If it’s so good in the wet why isn’t it so good in the dry, I’ve always been confused about that. It’s the same with the Brawn it’s excellent in the dry but not so good in the wet. If they could find a balance

Overall a fantastic race once again, I thoroughly enjoyed it besides a few bits and bobs here and there. Come on Bahrain!

Quote from NSX_FReeDoM :am i the only one find Jonathan even more annoying than James Allen?
The guy just never shuts up. Let brundle speaks please.

You’re not the only one, on a blog/forum I regularly visit there’s a whole post about bringing back James Allen because they dislike Jonathon Legard so much.

I agree Legard isn’t the best; he’s pretty annoying because he makes a point of explaining everything just like he’s back on the radio. Today wasn’t as bad as it has been, but it’s been better than it has been.

I think just about everyone would like Murray back Maybe he can commentate for the British GP? Hmm …

If you don’t like what you’re doing you won’t concentrate as hard as you’re meant to. It took me the best part of 6 months to make a wooden clock in my woodworking class, since I’ve finished that I can pretty much make whatever I want. It took me about 2-3 weeks to make a CD/DVD unit and about 2 weeks to make a random thing to hold stuff and I’m currently working on a new project which I expect to be finished in the next few weeks.

Just set your mind to accomplish the task and you’ll be able to do it!

I can see some valid points in his argument. Although I disagree with most of them, why shouldn’t they get the money?

As Brawn has stated time and time again since the diffuser row came about, he told them about the loophole in the regulations but no one would take him onboard, so it’s their own faults tbh. I don’t see why they should get the money and not BrawnGP, it’s obvious Brawn was trying to help them out, they didn’t take him on board and he’s got the advantage out of it so now they are all crying about it.

It’s not really that much of a surprise to be honest. He already handed over his Team Principal role to Whitmarsh in January.

Had anyone even heard a whisper out of him until now?

I’m sure Whitmarsh will develop over this year making the transition to Team Principal, after being Dennis’s right hand man for these many years.

If your in desperate need for a new screen, I've had a look on eBay and found one that's from an international seller. It's about £70 and £33ish postage to the Uk

That's if you'd want it:

Quote from deggis :Because most of the Honda team is still here, just with a new name.

Well then most of the teams on that list are currently still there.

Minardi -> Toro Rosso
Jordan -> Midland - Spyker - Force India
BAR -> Honda F1 - Brawn GP
Stewart -> Jaguar - Red Bull Racing

So technically most teams are still their just not in their original names. With the exception of Arrows and Prost which went bust halfway throughout the season

It'd be helpful if people were able to see it :P

Here you go I've given it a little brighten up in PS, did it come out alright?

Quote from BenjiMC :qualifying, thats wut i said. Race wise he is only ever gonna be a number 2 imo unless he has someone like nelson piquet on hsi team

Yeah he's quite good at qualy I suppose

Renault should really use Nelson Piquet SNR at least he would at least have a chance at getting the car in a reasonable position :P

Quote from BenjiMC :tbh, he seems quicker over a lap but heikki has never been good in races imo. however i'd of thought he'd finish a lap at least...

So what is he good at?

Quote from BenjiMC :finish? how about get passed the first lap lol

Haha! Yes it would be nice if he could get passed the first lap I'm surprised though, I personally thought he'd be better at handling the 2009 car than Hamilton as he hasn't always had the best cars throughout his career. Maybe he will over the next few races if he passes the line after lap 1

I totally agree with you on that on Evilpimp. I certinally wouldn't do anything that would pose harm to myself, why should they?

I'll get them sorted! Thank's for checking it out.

Quote from evilpimp :I have, I have. Some people die young you know!

But cmon its been almost 20 years lol. Tbh, Bernie seems kinda like one of those crazy fascists who doesn't want to hear anything. What he says goes. He doesn't even regret changing the time to 5 PM even though all the drivers are complaining about it and all the teams as well!

True it's been 17 years :/

F1 is a Dictatorship! What Bernie and Max says go, no arguing otherwise you'll be

Quote from evilpimp :I smell a Ferrari comeback. They seem to feel humiliated and they'll definetly be in the top 5 in China imo. Brawn will get 1st as usual but Barrichelo this time. I have a feeling he's sick of feeling like the 2nd driver and he'll push to the win. Lewis will probably just cruise around to a points scoring position again, for some weird reason he seems to do that well!

They may have a comeback, it depends on whether their going to continue making silly mistakes.

I would love to see Barrichello win another GP, he deserves it!

Yep Hamilton does that very well, I wonder if Heikki will actually finish this race?
