Quote from STROBE :I usually find they have the desired effect when placed fully over the lens so that the camera meters through the filter. Otherwise, all you show is increased saturation due to the 2/3rds of a stop of light they block out, and little to do with the actual polarising effects.

Yeah that's true. If I wanted to make a ''proper'' comparison, I would have made 2 frames and put them side-by-side, one with and one without the filter.
But like I said, I was just having some fun out of boredom, and it was just to kind of give an idea of what they do.

7. Lots of what the ...?

In optics, chromatic aberration (also called achromatism or chromatic distortion) is a type of distortion in which there is a failure of a lens to focus all colors to the same convergence point. It occurs because lenses have a different refractive index for different wavelengths of light (the dispersion of the lens). The refractive index decreases with increasing wavelength.
Chromatic aberration manifests itself as "fringes" of color along boundaries that separate dark and bright parts of the image, because each color in the optical spectrum cannot be focused at a single common point on the optical axis.

In other words, the red glow around the bird in the 1st picture for example. Not really much you can do about it though. (Well, buying a new camera. )

Well they're known for that issue. I think it's worth it though, atleast you get to drive a Lotus.

Quote from Bose321 : I almost cried during this game.

In that case, you need some help.
And while you're doing that.. try asking about helping you with that ATI fetish of yours. Who knows, they might just be able to get you on track.

Couldn't help myself while playing with my camera & equipment in the sun, good representation of what polaroid filters are for. (Well, one of the many things you can use it for)

Quote from Bose321 :Wait, this aint NFS U2 Ultimate rice edition?

You've always got something to whine about don't you? Just look at is as a render, not everyone has the same taste as you.

Once, again, amazing stuff !

€150,- Here in the Netherlands. my brother brought me a pair from Thailand for €63,-, quite a nice deal.
Wouldn't have bought them myself for €150,-, that's for sure.

Let's hope Rockstar will make a proper version for the PC this time, instead of GTA IV.

I discovered I downloaded and finished Portal on my wrong Steam account the other day. Didnt really bother me though, as that meant I could finish it again once more.

Atleast it's not as bad as the Cayenne.

Am I the only one who thinks the wheels in TDU2 look really blocky? The tirewalls look HUGE. Maybe it's just me, but it looks kind of strange.

I might just actually buy this game, instead of torrenting it.

What an awesome game, I suggest just to finish it for the ending song which is just as great as the entire game.
Most fun game I've played in a while, props @ the OP for posting about it being available for free on Steam.

Jeez man, lay off of the pills. I liked the video, but I think those random color effects are horrible.
My opinion is that if you add a filter effect like that over a video, add it over the whole length of the video, instead of random places like this.

But that's the only bad thing I've got to say about it (Leaving the fact you used D&B again out of it. :razz

I don't agree. I don't really think it's good at all.
Basically, all you've done is put a couple a clips after eachother, added a bunch of D&B songs, added the Vegas earthquake effect, and an occasional effect on random locations in the video.
The camera angles weren't good aswell. Just experiment some more with the angles, instead of using those pretty much everyone uses.

I agree with FireMike, the clips were way too long, specially with D&B songs, which usually have a fast beat. Make your clips accordingly, speed them up if you want, as long as it fits with the music you're using.
Synchronise the clips with the music you're using better, that will make the overall video a lot more interesting to watch, as i pretty much got bored 2 mins into this video.

Quote from 5tag :Are you really complaining about bicycling in the Netherlands?

No, i'm complaining about the always present wind, which always seems to manage to blow right in your face, no matter what direction you're heading.
The area i live in is great for bicycling (road-wise), you're right about that.

City, Country: Maastricht, Netherlands
Time (local): 20:16
Weather conditions: Wind, Rain, 8°C
How you feel about it: Crap, and no signs of improvement here.

Liked the initial part, and I liked the camera angles used.
But after about two minutes, the clips seemed to have just been put after eachother in a random order, without syncing them with the music.
Although I love the Prodigy, I just don't think it fit well with this video.

Still enjoyed it, good video.

Looked like you had a problem rendering the video, something's wrong with the interlacing. Maybe it's just me though.
Somehow it actually kind of fits in this video though, as if it was meant to be like that. Really liked it.

All I can say is; poor Dev's.
Because every single time they log onto the forum, they'll find another list of threads with people whinging about how the physics are coming along, when the scirocco is coming, and where S3 is staying.
And people still wonder why the devs ánd the admins have given up on the forum.
People should start looking at themselves, as that's the only reason why every source of information about LFS has gone silent on this forum.

Beautiful, love the reflections and the car colors. Great model of the car too with that bodykit and the spoiler. The renders are getting better each day.

Quote from rockclan :Previous year I had contact with Ford. After much e-mailing I got them so far, to let the devs recreate some of the ford cars inside LFS for free.

But for what ever reason, the devs refused the offer from Ford, and all my work was for nothing. Strange though why the devs do not accept such an offer from one of the biggest car brands ever. Actually even plain stupid, but that's just my opinion.

Did Ford actually contact you after that to let you know that they refused it? Maybe the Dev's didn't refuse it, but they just never announced anything about it.. like they do with just about everything else.
