ok so are the movies hosted on your computer/server? or are they hosted on a webhostng companies server and you rent the space/hosting?

I am very happy to manage the website but I have little to no bandwith/diskspace available.

We can't let this resource go down the pan people. I'm going to look at costs for hosting a website of this size and then get back to you

Hey,

I'm happy to say that we have made a very large amount of progress with the team over the last few days,

News #1

Phlos signs for 4Sight

Phlos was a member that was with us before we split up at the end of December and like the other drivers Phlos went on his way but he decided to go solo. With the re-launch of [4SR] our offer for him to join us again proved too tempting.

Phlos is a French driver from Montpellier in France and is a very fast and clean mouse driver who is known throughout the LFS comunity. We would like to take this oppurtunity to welcome him.

Interceptor signs for 4Sight

We have been trying to strengthen the team for about a week now and have had a number of applications/requests of people wantining to join 4Sight. However, we were still yet to find a suitable candidate until Interceptor came along. Interceptor a.k.a Chris comes from Nottingham in England and he is a very established driver who was driving for Team 7 Racing until just a few days ago.

Good luck Chris and we're looking forward to making you welcome in our team.

Hi guys,

We've just finished our new skin pack over at 4Sight Racing and we were in desperate need of some new renders for wallpapers, banners on our website and for our gallery.

Could anyone render the following skins for us please?

Hey guys,

4Sight Racing Team have just finished their new skin pack for the new start. We are now driving around in the contrasting black and blue colours instead of the traditional white and blue that we used to be known from.

There are some pictures of our new skins here:

Hey,

I've been taking a few screenshots a realised how fake the movements the cars look, I know you could argue fast shutter speed on camera etc but do you think it would be possible to either have sme sort of blur / motion blur (not over the top just subtle) and maybe rotational blurring on the wheels, just to give that movement effect.

What you think?

plus lol when would you be able to do that? (i mean.. if we had warmup laps before the start, that would make sense, but otherwise... dunno what you would need it for)

would be useful for just before a hotlap ?

Quote from Hallen :
Continuous Variable
This has long been a theory in transmissions but is just now starting to see use in street cars. Audi is the first in the modern era (that I have heard of) that uses this type of gearbox. There are no real shifts in this system. It continuously varies the gear ratio based on the car speed and engine load. It can be setup to be totally smooth where no shift type hesitations can be felt. The driver can select "gears", but this just tells the transmission where to go to. I believe the Audi has been setup to actually give a bit of a hesitation so the driver can feel the shift and know it has been done.

yeh my Dad had this on his Audi TT 3.2 L. It feel quite weird but it's nice to have continuous power
