Quote from g7usl :I haven't got that in my config?

Hello, sorry about the late reply; I dont usually follow this thread. I hope you have already sorted it out - if not, as I've mentioned, the code Ive quoted can be found in the Airio.srv file.

Im not sure if you are using the latest version of Airio (or if the settings have changed alot between the version you are using and the current one), but I did download the latest one (a download link be found on EQ Worry's forum signature).

Merry Christmas!

Hi, did you upgrade S1>S2 with a voucher? If so, I think you have to manually enter the code after log-in to www.lfs.net. If you bought the code with the account "xxxlock1xxx" the code will be shown on that page.

Simply enter the code and click "upgrade account".

If this is not the case, have a look here: http://www.lfs.net/?page=faq

If you still cant find a solution - contact LFS Tech with as much detail as possible (https://www.lfs.net/?page=mailus).

Good luck!

Cant see it clearly - does it say "OOS CAR"?

Anyway, you can't go online with [most] vob mods (mods that change the shape of the original LFS car). Use the original car vobs (shapes) if you want to connect to servers.

If you didn't make a back up for the originals - you can re-install LFS or download them from here.

You should see an error message when it happens. What does it say?

For example you would get the following error message and then disconnect/reconnect;
JOOS - CAR

You can press Control+s to take a screenshot of the error (screenshot will be saved in /lfs/data/shots).

Yes, nice, but unnecessary in my opinion. There are loads more other stuff that can be added - which is worth the time Scavier spends on implementing.

What would happen when you spec another driver? Would you see their total driven distance?

The RAC does have a trip counter, but it resets when you spec another driver (or change views), iirc.

How about attaching the original .mpr?

Probably not; you would have to make an exception in the university network to allow communitcation between the PC and the masterserver.

Can you join-in via specific server? i.e. without waiting for hosts list, just type in a server name (i.e. cargame.nl s1) and try connecting.

If that does work you can search the available hosts on the LFSworld and then join by using the method above...

Hi, for starters - the lack of response maybe due to this being posted in a wrong sub-forum (at least I think so). Technical Asst. subforum is for stuff related to LFS. Airio is a 3rd party add-on.

The official Airio thread can be found here. You might have better luck if you posted your request there. Although it would be best if you directly got in touch with an admin or a team member of dMr.

A quick Google search brings up their forum. So you might as well sign up there and make a request. Good luck.

Confusing to me too. I found this explaination:

Quote from AndroidXP :You can use scripts to automate the process of setting the correct wheel turn per car. See: Script Guide.

What it boils down to is that you modify the LFS\data\script\CAR.lfs files (replace CAR with the 3 letter car initials, like XRT) and set each car's steering according to their ingame steering angles. These CAR.lfs script files are executed after leaving the garage (pit out onto the track) with the corresponding car.

As an example, for the XRT you would modify XRT.lfs and add following line in the script:
/wheel_turn 720
I guess you do all this to have the G25 soft-stops working for you? Because if you don't need the FF stops you can simply set the wheel to 720 or 900 degree rotation, set wheel turn compensation in the LFS options to something > 0 and all cars will automatically have a 1:1 steering with your G25, without having to do anything.

Surely a neighbour would help? What exact does not work? A glass of water won't be much help - although maybe help your parched throat. Does Windows recognize the wheel at all? Maybe someone already called 911. Anyway, is it still under warranty?

If it shows that the clutch is fully pressed in Control Panel nothing you will do in specific games might change anything.

If you have not reinstalled the drivers yet, do so - it might sort out the clutch. Wont take that long anyway.

Whats the issue with FFB? Is FFB ok in the other PC? If it is not - have a look in the LFS Manual about setting up the FFB in the profiler (http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/W ... tting_up_a_Logitech_Wheel)

Just checking: is your PC a Windows 7 32 bit? (or is it 64 bit?)

Reinstall the correct drivers (http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/ ... oads&bit=&osid=14) and do the calibration. When installing the Logitech software, do NOT plug in the wheel until asked to do so in the calibration process.

After calibration check in control panel > game devices > Logitech G25 to see if it does recognize the clutch as an axis now...

Hi, yes, quite possibly it is something on their end.

What type of connection is he using? i.e. if he's using wi-fi or tethering via phone etc., get him to connect via a direct connection (ethernet).

If possible, ask him to run tests from both www.speedtest.net and www.pingtest.net and post the results here.

400°.

Pits > BF1 > Steering.

The wiki is maintained by Victor + the LFS community; so someone mistakenly added the BF1 to 450°

Quote from Saabjock :I wish there were some way to unlock all cars for offline only racing against the AI...

Hi, first of all - you should be able to use all cars offline (in Single Player and Hotlap modes).

The LFS "level system" is a 3rd-party application. It has nothing to do with developers of LFS. But a number of server admins are using this tool to filter out inexperienced drivers. As Bean0 said, not all servers use this.

Specifically which types of cars are you interested in racing? Maybe if you let us know we'll be able to point out a few servers that dont have the filtering in place.
