"You must be in S1 Mode"
When I go to my garage to select one of the new cars I purchased in S1, it says I must be "in S1 Mode to drive car x."

It works fine in singleplayer, but it does this when I go to multiplayer and try to use one of the cars on the "Universal Cruise" server.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Here's what it looks like:

Thanks!
Well how do you expect to drive S1 content when the host is set to demo?

I don't know... as I don't know what that really means.

Could someone please chime in with an explanation. As you can see, I'm a complete 'noob' and I do apologize for my lack of knowledge.

EDIT: I just went back and took a closer look. It appears that when I'm looking at all the servers, it shows "dots" only under the XFG, XRG and FBM on that particular server. I went to look for a cruise server with "dots" under the cars in S1 and couldn't find any... only ones that I need S2 to get into. Great...

Like boothy said, 'Ultimate Cruise' is a demo server.

There are no (or very few) servers that provide just S1 access because 97% of licensed drivers are S2 licensed. It says under your username that you're S2 licensed anyway, why not give them a spin?

e: looks like you made it to LTC while posting.
I just decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to S2.

Totally worth it.
Welcome; hope you enjoy your stay!

As most of us here agree, that £24 is totally worth it!
It's about $40 CAD, here... not too bad.
