I was one of the first to moan about the new patch but after a few months playing with it, the clutch problem i had.. is gone. I've learnt and now i can play as good as i used to.

Just wanted to know how many years, months you been playing the game.

I played back in S1 days, but brought S1 back in 11 Jun 2004 then S2 when it came out. Nearly 4 years now

Nice and yes you can do it in real life. I just went on Blackwood track and tried XF GTR , started in 6th gear, went off and within 10seconds clutch went lol so..? so really i doubt i go back to lfs now, been playing it for years and no i don't want to change to wheel. I like using keyboard for changing gears and mouse to steer/accelerate/brake. Unless i got settings wrong but doubt i have.

Okie how about this. You start your car on 5th gear or even 4th which you can do in real life, the turbo cars in the game are the worst for this (clutch error) You star driving from 5th gear then bang the clutch goes.. how is that real?

Clutch sucks bad as i said in other thread, you down shift only alittle bit and bang the car is dead how is that realistic?

The new clutch sucks and is very un realistic. Take the easier cars, they can be pushed harder then the faster cars which in real life the faster cars can be pushed even harder due to them actualy racing.

The UF1 GTR can be broken in seconds. I was in 5th gear and down shifted to 4rd, 40% hard so not that hard and bang car is gone. How can that be?
I've driven some faster cars in my time and the clutch in those are better and they not even "race cars"

Wow ure big? How is that crying? only because he doesn't want to use a wheel, i don't.. does that make me a baby or wanna cry? I use mouse and keyboard. I too hate the new clutch thing and also the car set problem. Plus that new 1.2 bmw F1 car is rubbish. I mean why do we need more F1 cars and why for demo's.
I will never use a wheel as i choose to use mouse and keyboard, it's like me using mouse over controller for first person shooters, i prefer to use mouse.

Since upgrading to patch Y my car settings don't work at all. I've even redownloaded LFS to make sure wasn't my end but shouldnt be as just brought this new pc 3 days ago. I just have the standard RACE settings on all cars. Not good really...... any ideas?

Must amit i do like that cage for the intercooler part/engine

Nice work there with the real thing, it's nice to drive one of those then when you play on the pc it's 100% different. Hopelly after xmas we get some new cars then F1 ones

Na i see more nagging in S2 members then demo's some do it just to lick admins ass, brownie points etc. and then they tell us they used the report button, how sad can you get.
