i donno how though, is it some sort of cylinder tool? if it is where can i find that tool?
edit: found the cylinder, now just have to make it hollow
edit 2: i did it, i just selected the polys around the edge of the exhaust, stretched and moved them, then moved the polys underneth.
it looks pretty good for my first scene, i even have hood pins!
its just a small 1 for now to save time.
comments and suggestions if you dont mind, keeping in mind it is a first dont go to hard on me.

Edit 3: i fixed the white stuff around the lights, then when i did a render with a grey background, i got the white bit above? after than line its all white? any ideas?

nice! looks awesome, im having a go at making my first scene atm i've got new wheels and a spoiler (thanks beefy ) i dont know how to sculpt the body yet, but i have to learn the basics first.

Hey guys, i did my first two renders today, i don't know how to change the skin on Ianh's pre made scenes, i go into material editor, then find XRT, then click on add skin, then click on enviroment, then click on bitmap and locate my skin, but when i render its still purple?
im using 3DS 7, if anyone would like to help me, my msn is michael_chapman93@hotmail.com, i'm really keen to figure out how to do this, so all help is very much appreciated.

Edit 2: ok, i got the skin bit, i wasnt clicking the box next to difuse, next question, how do i delete or hide the rims? so i can put some nice new ones on, and is it possible to remove the spoiler? if so how?

stretching it wont work, i tried it 4 u, it looks shit house, you simply cant enhance a picture like that, doubling it in size means, reducing it by half its quality, so therefor your better of to leave it as it is.
