have u tried finishing the install even if ur PC doesn't dectect the wheel. Then after just reboot ur machine. Somtimes the profiler doesn't dectect the wheel, but after a reboot it will.

ok, lets start from the top .

1. Uninstall all drivers for the G25.

2. to go logitech and download latest drivers cause the ones on the disk are normally old.

3. UNPLUG ur G25 from ur computer.

4. Open up the logitech profiler install

5. Read through the welcome and agreement and such.

6. Read through Detection and at some point it will tell u to plug in ur G25 into ur USB port!!!!

7. It will then come up with that stupid green bar, you should of plugged in ur G25 about 1 or 2 steps ago.

8. Click on ur G25 when it finishes and then click next

9. don't touch anything as it callibrates, but read and click ur mouse yes or no.

10. The rest is straight forward...JUST read.

EDIT: LOL, I acutally think I did what Jo53phs did . Try the way I told u a couple more times, then just hit next after the detection even if it doesn't show up. Then go to controllers and open the logitech profiler. If it doesn't show up then restart ur computer and the G25 should callibrate when it restarts.

lol, but in a online race with no damage....well... it sucks, all you have to do is barge every corner.. Even if the damage system is half-assed at least it will stop ppl from doing that.

PC is way better for SIMS. but obviously the PS3 is better for arcade games and many others... Even GT5 isn't that sim like, no damage, the cars feel heavy sum what like the FXR...

So PC for sims... And PS3 for arcade and any other games.

Are u talking about Online PBs? cause I'm sure u've already know, but they've been deleted. Other thing is, did someone add one small object to the track, cause then PBs wont work?

Yah, Harder the car is to drive, the more points you get. so lets say in first place driving the XFG you get 5 pts.. In the XRG you would get 10

Same with the Race3 server, you get more points for using the XFR or UFR than the FXR, XRR, or FZR in the GT2 class.

Lol, same with Race2, FXO is lowest, then RB4, then for highest points you would drive the XRT.

First try and re-calibrate your pedals.

Second mess around with LFS settings, I had this problem with my old Sidewinder multiple times and screwing around in LFS eventually solved this.

Third, download DXTweak and put a 5% deadzone on your brake pedal... It will stop it from denting your acceleration, but it might feel wierd at first when trying to lightly brake.

Oh, and are ur pedals combined, or seperate? Cause in LFS there is a setting to lower the sensitivity of your pedals. Can't remember the name of it tho and I am away from my PC and lfs.

You didn't loose your sets, you just need to rename them

If you look, they are now called XF_GTI_BL1.set OR Formula_V8_BL1.set

THEY NEED TO BE CHANGED TO XFG_BL1.set OR FO8_BL1.set

ALL the setups are now using their 3 LETTER ABREVEATION.

Live for Speed cause LFS is also an abreveation for some other random company.

Large house in crammed city or small house on acreage.

don't know why they are DDS, but a lot of those skins are private. you should delete all the skins you copied over and make sure u are allowed to use them first...

U mean like a deadzone? Go to axis and turn off deadzone. Or use DXTweak and remove it...

(axis is where u set up ur pedals and steering in LFS)

buy S2... There are NO crashers on S2 servers... The only way there will be a clean race on a demo server is when there are admins there to ban any crashers. But those races are only team stuff... So once again, buy S2. Won't regret it

all it does is show 2 or more replays at the same time. So you can compare your self to the WR to see where u loose time and where he pins it around that one corner.

Great tool, I also get the unexpected error. For some reason I can only open a select few layouts in LYTE. I have one track that has a start, finish, and all the objects are alinged properly. I can't open it. I have another track that is the same, but I can open it. (all tracks are on AU1)

It's it a random bug or does it have something to do with the number of objects, ect.

The outbraking technique is VERY hard... If you try it... you WILL hit the person ahead of you... First, there is lag, meaning the person starts to brake BEFORE his brake lights light up. So you have to predict when he will start to brake. Second, if he is fast, then you will probably over shoot the turn in and ram into him...

For beginners. follow the person about 2 car lengths behind, and pass on a straight, or when they make a mistake.

Then you can start passing mid corner such as the first corner on SO-Town REV. Then make your way to outbraking.
