It works if you rename it to .zip, open with winrar, extract wanted file, edit file, put back in archive with no compression ("store").

Another small thing, in the server browser there is a button "privaat" for private servers.
"Privaat" generally refers to the bathroom, "privé" should be used instead.

It "runs" on Wine, but it isn't really playable. Last time i tried it, the graphics were really bad and the framerate was very low.

Just install Wine (apt-get install wine), and run lfs.exe with it (wine lfs.exe).
Maybe it's useful for server purposes, but for playing the game, forget it.

I used Ubuntu btw.

I can't get a time less then around 7 secs, even with slickmod (for type 1 slicks).
7 secs isn't really a big challenge, but every time i add some more power it starts to wheelie or the tires pop
