Don't know how big you want it.. but these are 627x204 recreated (rather quickly / roughly.. but could be worse) using Illustrator. One on a white background, the other a 24-bit transparent version.
I still have my Surfboard SB4100 modem (Motorolla IIRC). Downloaded some stuff from Adobe's site the other day at an average of 1.54MB/s. I don't think the modem is a problem
I've always thought that when VM's connection is good, it's very good.. anything else however... services, "tech support" (hahahah) is purely a joke.
Had a _very nice_ quiet weekend away at the Lake District. The surroundings are pretty amazing and the 3-star hotel wasn't to be sneezed at either with a lovely view across the lake and a small, but nice balcony.
I've heard that a few times on the E30 I'm a member of. There's a few people there from Oz / Nz that have been on the lookout.
Cool. I'll be adding a carbon airbox to mine shortly
Thanks.
A 2.5 would definitely be a good swap. The 2.0 is quite under-powered for what it should have been and drinks as much juice as a 2.5.. although at least it's a 6-pot! What year is your motor? Looks really clean.
The pics were taken under yellow-coloured street lamps. I used a flash in the first couple I took which removed all traces of yellow, but I liked the colouring, so they were all shot with no flash and an experiment with different exposure and AF settings (still trying to learn this stuff)
Cheers. Yup, lowered by 40mm and has H&R adjustable rollbars too. Is very nice to drive, but retains quite a bit of comfort still.
Don't know about chassis sharing, but at a guess, I'd probably say no. It does share just about everything with the saloon version though (only difference is the shape of the back of the roof.. wheelbase, track, panels (except rear doors) etc are all the same).
Thanks.
Sorry about the sizes.. I'll resize them when I get home from work tonight.
Nice.. and even better, the correct number of pots
Shame you're not closer as I have a spare set of 15" BBS alloys I'll be looking to shift shortly
Don't know what it'd cost to ship a new grille piece though.. I have a few of these in my lockup and a few sets of smiley headlights. Personally I'd replace the '320i' badge on the boot though.. just for authenticity.

I did an experimental night shoot... here's a few new ones of the touring. It had had a wash in the morning, but 8 miles along the A40 and the screen was covered in bug carcasses again
First attempts at some nightshots.. although after coming home and loading them up in Lightroom, realised that the 800 ISO setting had made them quite noisy. Shame the bugs had attacked the windscreen within in a few hours of washing it too.
Starting to understand / get the hang of some of the settings now (I think? C&C welcome). No post-processing.. just changed into sRGB in Photoshop and resized.
Largely inspired by the pics I'd seen posted here and wanting to take better photos than I had been.. I decided it was time to put the Canon Powershot A400 to one side and buy a dSLR camera. I have everything to learn still as this is my first non "point-n-shoot" camera, but it'll be an enjoyable journey.
Here's a few pics that have been taken over the past few days before the weather turned crappy. Although the 2nd image is a bit dark (under exposed?).. for some reason, I'm quite liking the "effect"
As said, I have everything to learn, but C&C more than welcome
Just over 182k miles on my 1987 plate E30. Starts on the button, doesn't burn oil and pulls to 135mph... if serviced right, they seem to just keep going
Yup, only 2 things I could find wrong was it looks like it needs a thermostat (don't get warm on the gauge until in heavy traffic) and the inner door handle on the driver's door doesn't spring back when released (door opens fine etc still). Nothing that can't be sorted.. and apparently the 100 mile drive home was pleasant according to my brother.. so seems it was a pretty good find.
Mileage is highish at 171k on a '96 plate, but has FSH and it's been serviced regularly.. engine still sounds sweet
The devs are cool with it.. there's info regarding this either in the readme of the CMX viewer or on the download page (can't remember exactly which now).. and I asked specifically back when I was planning on a complete LFS conversion for rFactor.. but stopped after 4 cars as rF became a serious headache / joke and ISI, a bunch of bullsh!tters.
I think I had the XRT, MRT, FO8 and FXR in game.. but not completed IIRC.
Nope.. the Hard Drivin' arcade machine had ~900 degrees (can't remember exactly how many, but the wheel turned a lot) and had both clutch and H-shift box. Even had a key you had to turn to start the engine! Out way before Ridge Racer
I wasn't having a pop.. just that faster _normally_ means less economical. If I wanted something that drank less than my car, I'd have to consider something a little slower etc etc
The only place a "faster car" (by this I'm really referring to something with a bigger engine) is likely to be more economical is on the motorway where the engine has to work less to achieve higher speeds.
Just sounded like you were wanting the best of both worlds (faster and more economical) that don't often meet
If 34mpg is defined by "drinks fuel like Charles Kenedy drinks Whisky"... I dread to think what you'd _really_ think if you had a faster car.
I get about 26 tops, if I drive _very_ conservatively.. but as I don't, I'm looking closer to 12-18. That said, being a RWD does infinitely increase the fun factor
Seriously though.. "faster" and "more economical" don't really go hand-in-hand.
Hell.. for sh!ts n giggles.. why not look for a BMW E30 318iS. Most definitely quicker than than the proton and with the right wheels doing the driving.. infinitely more fun
