Enhance pointer precision is off, but my problem is, that I need longer distance for steering. Now it is about 5 cm from full right to full left and I would like to have more "space".
btw now this is problem just in FBM, FOX and MRT, because by the time I got used to higher sensitivity in road cars
Mille Sabords: Thanks, but I use Microsoft mouse and in attached software I can only change buttons settings for different applications, senstivity is set globally
But I really think, that they should include mouse sensitivity setting in LFS, it shouldn't be difficult.
Add-on track are good idea. I can see it on example of another great simulator - Condor: The Competition soaring simulator, it has 2 developers and they like quality products, so every plane there must be finished by them (fans just send them raw 3D model and technical specifications), but we have enough cars in LFS, so I think, that this will just slow down the development, but on the other side - users are allowed do make sceneries for Condor and these sceneries help to keep the simulator alive. So this is the way developers should choose for LFS and I am sure, that it will help LFS.
This is exactly the thing I have been waiting for. I am really tired of road cars setup tuning, because from road car I expect, that I can buy it, adjust some basic features and go race on the track.
I believe that Scirocco will bring closer racing than we can experience in TBO class now just because of REALISTIC setup.
-1
It will be more worth if developers add some new features(like brake heating or rain or new track scenery) and don't spend their time on designing of new F1.
+1 for this
It is elementary feature in all games, that use mouse
My mouse sensitivity in windows is a bit higher, because I like to move fast from one side of the desktop to another, but in LFS I would appreciate lower sensitivity for more precise driving.
Now I compensate it a little bit by increase of dead zone of neutral position.
I hope they will release it as soon as possible. Now I have repeating dreams about Scirocco release And it is very cruel when I wake up and realize, that it was just a dream...
It looked so real when they announced it on 19th December
It reminds me this video: www.liveforspeed.net/download/S2clip.zip
I totally agree. I tried demo of Race Driver: GRID and everything was blurry or too bright. I like the graphics of GTR2 - nice, detailed, sharp and with a little of DX9 effects. LFS hasn't DX9 effects, but still looks very good and if any stranger looks at screenshots, he says it has nice graphics.
And about fun - NFS can be fun, but just during single player, when you finish SP, you stay with arcade racing, which I don't consider as fun.
On the other side, LFS gives you all the cars and tracks from the first moment and you have to LEARN how to drive them and then learn how to make a good setup, etc. If you learn everything, you can race, race and race for many hours.
LFS now has just one minus - slow development, if only developers hire some programmers to help them with it...
But I am patient, because I know, that when it comes, it will be big
I tried NDR server today and it is awesome
I love TBO class, so it was my first choice when I saw about 20 players connected. On the server I found friednly racers and short races, which I prefer. NDR is now #1 server for me.
