I agree with others it has to be 2,2 and 9

The house next door is 13 which is always the number of houses in horror movies http://cgi.ebay.com.au/The-Hou ... 90210188911QQcmdZViewItem

Quote from SamH :Am I missing something? Does someone here actually believe the Noah story?

People believe in UFO's, the supernatural, all kinds of conspiricy theories hey some even believe soapies are real so why wouldn't there be some that believe in the noah story.

The best way to reward safe driving is make the sim more realistic (better damage modeling, dynamic track conditions, racing line, better tyre modeling in regard to wear and damage due to misuse, etc)

Most of these will come in time I hope.

Checked out the demo for the first time in March 2004, bought S1 a few weeks later. And have often thought that I was a very late arrival in LFS and wondered how could I have missed seeing it for so long, doesn't seem that way as much now

Quote from Not Sure :I wonder what Scawen thinks about this? I for one would like to hear some feedback.

This is what he thought about this a few years ago

Quote from Scawen :About multiple screens by using multiple computers connected, i think that is an easier option than supporting multiple video cards in a single computer. But although it's a nice thing to support, it's a bit low priority compared with several other things. I don't know if it will be supported by LFS in future, or if Direct X or video card manufacturers will make it easy to support multiple screens, before we reach that time.

The video card manufacturers still haven't come to the party it would be interesting to hear if Scawen is thinking it deserves higher priority now I'd be happy just knowing it will make it into S3

I'd agree entirely with that gezmoor, but that is a seperate improvement suggestion and has been suggested and discussed many times. I do hope all these are implemented in the furture though

My suggestion is a closeup pic of one of the wheels of your car

Quote from Juls :For me the best would be a thin LFS-view client, able to connect to a running LFS client/server and simply display a view. It could be very interesting, because it could be used to create multiple viewports displays AND as a client for watching LFS races broadcasting!

that would open up a whole bunch of additional possibilites...

Quote from March Hare :So let me get this straight.

1. You would like all the places that tarmac meets grass/dirt to be like that one?

Yes, I'd like at least most corner exits to be less gental where the tarmac and grass meet.

2. Then there is the tarmac that is painted green, like in the second pic? This should be turned into grass?

No that's fine as it is imo.

3. Some corners have concrete that has grass growing though it. What about these? I think they should have less grip than tarmac.

Agree entirely even if both surfaces have similar grip the fact that grass is growing through and it has less area in contact with the tyre should mean it has alot less grip than smooth tarmac and be rougher when getting abit sideways.

In general also the grass areas are too smooth and need to be roughed up imo an off in an open wheeler should be bad in general and in a sedan it should be more adventurous

Quote from amp88 :The main reason I think it's possible is that people's religious beliefs have been subject to massive change throughout history.
New influences can change people's beliefs on a global basis.

Still doesn't change the fact that human's are fatally attracted to being religous, and religous fervour is what causes the problems not religion per say.

Look at sport (soccer springs to mind) or even this forum it's the ones that have religous fervour that cause things to esculate beyond reason

And just because an indervidual or group of individuals might not have a religion doesn't necessarily mean they are not religious
I think a vast majority of people will always be religious, it's easier than the alternative...

In my opinion it's not religion that causes most of humanities tragedies it's people attraction to being reliogious

So in short the answer to your questions is No

This maybe of interest to you also

http://www.lfsforum.net/showth ... p;highlight=corrected+fov

It does suggest that someone with programing skill maybe able to create such an app for tripple screens also or you could use it with two PC's for a three or four screen (full screen) setup with two accounts.

Quote from wtf im nameless :I will have to test if the lag is a lot worse online... single player it is amazing... the delay is so small you don't notice it at all unless you look for it.

Oh forgot to mention some online servers kick spectstors if they don't actively race after a certain amount of time and also for me being in Australia having multiple instances of LFS with multiple streams of data will always cause lag, even though I'm on the fastest net you can get here

I did ask Scawen a long time ago about the possibility of FS style of multimonitor support and he said at that time it wasn't practical due to it requiring a complete rewrite LFS, I've never had the chance to ask about a local relay client though other than to post an improvement suggestion

I agree 100% that that type of multimonitor support would kick ass though.

Quote from cbsalkvist :Maybe the moderators should aprove new threads before they got posted. That would solve the problem of repost...

The only way that would be feasable is with about another 100 moderators

Quote from wtf im nameless :I have just found out that this game already has proper multi view multi monitor support BUILT-IN for as many monitors as you would like to connect...

The main problem I'd see with that solution is possible lag differences between instances of LFS running when in online player mode, which is why I suggested the following some time ago.

Don't think too many got what I was on about though

I agree

Edges of the track are too tame, grass is too smooth, etc

I posted recently about the fake grass (concrete) runoff areas being to similar to tarmac also.
http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=40333

And I think your 100% correct the line where tarmac meets dirt needs to have some bite

Found this thread while searching for motion sim ideas

Love the suggestion and downloading and trying the program (proof of concept), definately hope this becomes a native feature of LFS.

I'd love to know if Scewen programed a test rig when developing tyres for LFS, he did mention he was going to many moons ago before last major tyre physics update.
