IRL 4x4 have been banned from track racing for years, they are only allowed in rally's...so maybe the solution is to banned them on lfs too, that would save us quite a few discussions.
And I do agree with Fade, FXR looks slower than it is because top drivers rarely drive it...to me it is a bit like an easy car to start with, like a first step before driving the real cars!
And it is not like we are forcing anyone to driver it!

Some firewall problem yesterday, should be ok now.
Round one of GT1C and TT had very close quali, many fast drivers struggle to get in to the races... on paper this should be even closer with already 110+ signups, it is going to be an insane 24h quali!

Well, on paper it was looking to be a good race for me, I had not been that fast for a very long time, I mean at 43 years old it is not every day you can match pace with the fastest among you... sadly destiny had other plans for me, one giving me the role of a punching ball!...but I still manage to have some fun!

I don't care much about your dirty moves, to me they just represent your ways to compensate for your poor racing abilities, and prove your very bad racing mentality ... But what I really don't like is your anti sportive comportment, I mean I was catching the car in front of me, you brake to let him pass on the S/F strait, place your car between us and start a pointless fight with me while your tires were completely burned, you slow me down to the point of being ridicule, then almost crashed me, burn my tires and make me loose places...and as soon as I have finally passed you, you retire from the race!...this is exactly the kind of comportment I have been warning everyone about: https://www.lfsforum.net/showt ... php?p=1793912#post1793912
Guys like you are spoiling so many races that I can't even count them anymore, many ppls in lfs even went as far as believing it was the right way to achieve results. So let me tell you that this comportment you have been showing is overpowering your talents and achievements, the only impression you give to others is the one of a bad racer with a bad mentality, and that's probably where you got the most success in LFS!
And about Jonaas, what can I say...I guess his intentions were clear!
It is really sad that we have to go through that kind of stuff, but give us some time and I can promise you that those bad racers are not going spoil our races very long!

Little more than 4 years ago I left the Redline Racing team after a failed merger with my first team in LFS (Framaris Racing), I was a bit fed up with all the work I had done for nothing and decided to look for a good team and join them (Core and SR were on top of my list). That was without knowing that many RR and ex FR members would leave too, soon after they came to ask me to bring the FR team back, at first I wasn't enthusiastic about it, but their determinations and motivations were high and I couldn't resist giving it a chance. The FR team started as a joke, I used that tag to avoid the many requests I was getting to join teams, but it back fire when Masai and MC0676 asked to join my team which they did. After I left RR I knew a bit more what I wanted to see in a team, but the main thing was that if I was to restart a new team, it couldn't have my name because it would have to be owned by its member, managed democratically and be able to survive after I leave LFS. So I designed a 4 years plan where we were going to learn most aspects of racing in LFS, starting with managing popular public servers with R2R TBO and R2R GT2 and building a community around it. We made many friends and the team size increased, second part was to start organising small series (Dailycious series) and get used to longer races, then we would work out way up slowly to leagues racing and become a more professional team of hardcore racers. I believe in friendships and sharing, so the creation of GenR was one of the logical steps, but that's a story for another time (next Sunday actually). Any way the all idea was to have an organisation where all the serious aspects of racing would be represented, from demo to league organisation, the last being the final step.
So, exactly 4 years ago today Ready2Roll Team was born and after many ups and down I am happy to announce that most our ambitions have been achieved, the team is like a real family and I think all ppls who have been or still are in R2R can testify for that! I couldn't be more happy and proud when I look back at those fantastic 4 years!
