I sadly had to watch the all race (see why in the result's post), what I can say is that I am impressed at the race quality, it is starting to look like everyone is taking the races very seriously, nice work gents!!
Congratulation to SPDO Blawhoff for an other great win!! and Arthas for making him work for it!!
First I want to say this is a great idea and I hope demo racers will pick up on this!
It all sounds good to me, the only thing I would think about is to limit the amount of race format to avoid confusion, one or two sounds better to me...maybe like one format with 2 shorter races and one with one longer race...my two cents!
You have all my support, just ask if you need anything!
No registration needed, but make sure to read the rules and to do a minimum training, there is often more than 32 racers on the server and only 32 places to race.
Note: I finally got some more free time, so after tonight's race, I'll be looking to improve the quali system which still seems to be hard to understand for many...stay tuned!
This is only showing that the economic poles are shifting and Europe is losing grip to new emerging countries, I think this demonstrate how desperate we are to maintain some kind of military power in Europe. England's nuclear button is under American control for a long time and that's why the French won't share that, like that if the US don't agree France still can do something...
Chirac and Blair had signed some military agreements before which never worked, let see if this will....
I think this bit is not entirely true, from what I have heard last night, England will build a similar testing lab on their soil...looks like they don't have one atm...
Personally I think that England and France working together (what ever it is) can't be a bad thing for Europe, for too long England has been closer to the US than Europe...
Hooo you shouldn't have reacted on my complains that fast, now I will think that you can do anything very fast...Now I've have raised my expectations lol
I have some time today, so I'll make sure to test it later....MERCI!
I think the smooth camera is adding some realism, good one!
Edit: just tested it and it works, very good compromise EQ!
Now let see if you can add a setting for how much degrees we want to turn the head of the driver...
I am a bit too busy with work now, but as soon as I have some time I'd like to start a brain storm on this, of course to get such a league to MoE level would take a lot of dedication and maybe some cooperation between 2 or 3 teams...
also I ''need'' to get EQ Worry motivated to finally add endurance support to airio, tracker is good to handle the time out but it would be so much easier for the drivers to be aware of their positions on the track...
I think it is a good idea, tho as I see the race calendar Wednesdays before the races would be more appropriate for us since we run our series on Thursdays...for next time of course
I am trying my best to avoid TBO atm, been sooo addicted I don't know how to drive other cars any more ....
Of course it is impossible for me to stay away for long, TBO offered me the most intensive races I ever had in LFS, so it is a bit like a drug you can't give up completely...and I love TBO ppls!
I think sprint racing is not really the best way to enjoy TBO, first 10 laps are too often hell on the tires side, but they are lovely after 15 laps and even better after 1:30h...we've tried 24h in June, loved it, so I am thinking about doing more endurance with them now and maybe organize some!
Hi, working like crazy atm and I was away for a couples of days, of course the password has been sent to me on sunday, meaning that my team mates couldn't qualify in the first session....are we allowed to do the second session only?
I can confirm that Genuine racing is going to race this weekend, I will post the drivers here tonight or tomorrow (too many drivers want to do it, so I have to pick the best ones first).
plz tell me if there is a problem I am not aware off?
I will change the team leader to avoid more of those in the future...sorry!
First of all THX to NDR organisers for the race last night, I think it was well organized, great job guys! (must have been stressful with the servers crashing on Saturday)
It was a bad show from us, been pretty busy lately and I saw the email that we had to race the test event Saturday afternoon (Personal note: I had promised to my wife a weekend without LFS lol ) which gave us very little time for training and setup, we had two sets for the race r2/r2 and r2/r3 and decided to play save, of course we forgot about the eventuality of safety car which was a drama for the r3's in the back. Aerox was complaining to have lost grip completely with no apparent damages to the car (F10), so he pitted (tires and fuel, no repair) to give the wheel over to Matty who was very surprised to get an undrivable car under braking, he missed a couples of corners and had to do an extra pit to repair damages, we think the spoiler was almost touching the ground which would explain the problem under braking and why aerox had lost the grip after the safety car...I took over for the last 30min, there was no point in pushing, so I just cruised till the safety car came out again and gave me a chance to gain a few places.
Anyway that's racing and we had fun , THX to everyone for a fair race!
THX mate, yes it was a shame I couldn't, so now I have to play catch up!
Sorry to everyone, I had a major pc crash last week (PSU and Velocyraptor dead), I have posted the result of last week on the official topic on our forum (late) and forgot to update this topic too, so if you have missed it check it out here: http://www.ready2rollteam.com/ ... wtopic.php?f=44&t=772
Note: I have asked racer for protests to be notified in the official topic, since none have been made, I have not check the all replay for every single actions...
Tomorrow it is Gt2's opening race on KY3R, you can display the restrictions by typing !cars, it is a long track so make sure to train a minimum! lfs://join=%26%20R2R%20GEN%20GT2
During the races you can disable airio messages by typing !silent...
On a personal note, I should have been going to Magny Cours today, but I hurt my back enough to keep me at home for my birthday, so I'll be trying to finish and score some points tomorrow...with very little training
Airio needs to spec everyone a couples of times to get the grid sorted, When airio spec us the last time 30sec before start, the first 15sec ppls in !ss get the message JOIN NOW, in the last 15sec ppls not in !ss are able to join and fill the grid, it goes by joining order, so you were probably first or second to do so ...
Also note that we should all join the track and wait for start, going back to pit in that moment would put you in the back for sure, and if you're qualified in !ss make sure to join in the first 15sec...
