If I recall correctly, that has nothing to do with Layout square,it's just set so in LFS - when you reach such speed,it triggers reset. I'm sure some old tweakers can confirm this.
Mr. Flame asked me to report this directly here - LOD2 is missing both front and rear wings, while also part of rear is also missing, which leads to this weird shadow. Since you made variable wings designs, best solution probably would be to create some "average" desing for LOD2 that casts approximate shadow.
Only with new shadows system shadow will be casted from currently visible LOD (like in LFSE),until then it's highly suggestable to make proper LOD2.
Also the LOD3 seems to be default auto generated, for sake of quality it should be more similar to actual car's shape.
D: means drag (air resistance).
L: means lift, which in negative value is downforce.
Also what you're showing in screen is at 7° wing angle on both ends, while the mod has option to set 0-20° to front and 0-30° to rear "wing",eventually increasing downforce faaaaaaaaaar beyond the values you set on default set (my mentioned ~1300kg at 250km/h). To make it correct, you should remove ability to adjust wings as I personally don't see anything adjustable on the car. If there really is such thing as adjustability of the downforce,it can be only like 3° at each end with rather minor effect. What nowhere is written is downforce distribution - one can only suck out of finger which part provides how much downforce as only value known (also claimed by manufacturer, which not always is real) is the total downforce. Additionally we have unsettable variable in LFS - ride height strongly affects strength of undertray, unfortunatelly we have to live with that until it gets updated.
PS. I'm no engineer either, just a simple handyman with passion for this racing simulator.
The 2nd round of the season practically went under sign of one car model - the coupe version of LFS's own grown XF model. It was drawn for 6 drivers,5 attended and 4 even made in top8 of the results, proving this car has quite advantage in this track. However there was something what this car did not - dominate the race in lead as 15 of 16 laps was led by other car. 16 different cars were represented in this race,5 others were drawn, but the drivers did not attend - after 2 round still 6 cars have not been used, however 3 of those are still locked due new mods regulations.
The driver who recently has won and run in high positions in many different leagues celebrated a race win also here in this league - it was the 2nd race win for M,previous was scored last season in round 3. Despite taking pole position (his 5th in RC) and setting also fastest lap of the race (his 2nd of the season and 3rd overall),he led only a single lap in this race - the last one,as the XF Turbo Coupe is well known for it's race start weakness compared to non-FWD cars, the lithuanian could only see his fellow front row starter flashing by and pulling away on the first lap. After long chase eventually even from 4th position he finally found a way pass competition to cross the finish line first. Winner of season opener J.Holmes got a compact roadster BZ30 for this race and with it could add 15 lead laps to 14 from previous round, however he could not add the 2nd race win to his totals and had to settle for runner up position. Current leading candidate for AWS drivers champion title Sobis finished 3rd in this race, which is same position as he qualified in,however that can be considered as step backwards as he spent plenty of time in 2nd position.
After 2 rounds there are 2 significant leaders in series table - both round winners, who finished 2 in the other round are running away from competition early. M is ahead with just a single point gap over J.Holmes (thanks to fastest lap in both races),Thehemuli is 3rd already 13 points off leader. The defending champion did sign up for this season, however did not attend this round again.
In teams standings B2R keeps building out the lead as they scored most points between teams again,2nd with 18 points gap are defending champions RGA,who scored consistant 30 points in both rounds. Rest are already slightly off - 3rd best team Yes is already 41 points behind leaders. Also in Nations championship the leading nation after round 1 scored most points in round 2,thus increasing their lead - Lithuania is 20 points ahead of defending champions Finland,UK is strong 3rd with another 9 points off leader. Without a driver drawn for round 2,Fraud Wheeler keeps the provisional lead in manufacturers championship, where average score counts - XF Coupe Turbo is 2nd with 1 point gap,Talot is 3rd with 2 points gap to leader. These are quite provisional standings now as manufacturer needs at least 6 scores to be eligible for the title.
With 6 cars drawn the XF Coupe Turbo increased their draws to 24 in total - that's 8 less than both current draw leaders Talot and Imprezzive. M did score best results in both race and qualifying by being 1st in both sessions, beating Twincam's last race's result - 2nd in qualifying and 3rd in race. J.Holmes set new best results for his BZ30 - 2nd in both sessions, beating R.Kardol's previous best by 3 positions in both sessions. Pedro repeated N.400S' best qualifying result of 6th position. Arska set new best qualifying result for Dorito - 10th position is an improvement by 10 positions, however his 16th place in finish was just a repeat of Nosle's result. Jsk was the 1st ever driver to compete with the new Fend Torus, setting initial best result for the car - 20th in qualifying,19th in race, car is expected to perform better in tracks with higher average speed. The only draw fun fact is RD2's 2nd draw of Coquette of this season,3rd overall,he already has other car drawn 3 times - URC1,with which he won the 1st official RC race.
The track for round 3 has been already selected - Blackwood GP Track in reversed direction. Just like the season opener of last year,it will feature a 22 laps race - the long back straight will surely benefit the heavier and more powerful cars, however the opening section will mix things up in favour for lighter cars. FWD cars might suffer start even more for this round - the track has an uphill grid!
Allthough there is no such statistic gathered, there are not doubts this was the slowest AWS race ever - for the first time ever a car with engine power below 200 horsepower was used in this league and it was a long way from that power marker. But that does not mean the race was boring - the twisty Fern Bay Rallycross circuit was well suited for the car and still offered some challenge for the drivers, who could push the tyres all race long unlike in most rallycross races before. With 17 drivers on the grid this was the most attended race of this season.
With a first came another first - Lorenzo was the one who adapted to this combo best and was the one to beat this sunday. Despite gathering up a total of 9 top5 finishes in AWS before this round,he never qualified or finished higher than 3rd position, but this race brought him first pole position and first race win in the league and that after leading all 29 laps of the race. His teammate RD2 stole the fastest lap of the race before starting the penultimate lap which was also a first for him besides the highest qualifying position (4th) and best ever finishing position - 2nd. Also the 3rd place finisher scored his best ever qualifying position (2nd),however he could not keep himself in this position and settled in for 3rd place finish, which is his 3rd podium finish this year.
The table leading position has not changed - Sobis scored decent set of points by finishing 4th in the latest round, but his lead has been slightly reduced as the lithuanian has now 10 points advantage over 2nd place in table, which is now taken by the winner of this round - Lorenzo. Thehemuli has now dropped down to 3rd and has 14 points gap to lead. Even if also 4th place in table Arska is still eligible for drivers champion title,he needs a lot of wonders to happen to delete the 21 points gap. Top5 finish in season finale would secure the 2nd AWS drivers champion title for Sobis, but the unpredictibility of Winter 200 has a potential of late season drama.
One title however is already secured for Sobis - for the 2nd time he clinched the Cross challenge award, which was taken by him also in his championship season of 2019. Lorenzo took 2nd place in this minor competition, his teammate RD2 joined him on the podium in 3rd place. RD2 also aims for Rookie of the year award - the 2nd place finish in latest round gave the lead in this table back and he is now 7 points clear off his only rival S.Martin.
With full 39 points score defending champions RGA increased their lead to 38 points over closest rivals WCL,meaning a 2 points scored in season finale would make the title defence successful in any scenario. WCL on the other hand has secured 2nd place in teams standings as closest rivals LLM have only a single driver eligible for final round,so the 28 points gap is enough. As expected this round secured Nations cup for Finland for the 3rd time in row - 61 points gap over Lithuania is not deletable fully, while also Lithuania has secured it's 2nd place in the tournament. Italy is 3rd with 18 points advantage over other single driver nation,so it should be also relativelly secure.
Only season finale left and it's a round that has been a traditional season finale. The 200 kilometers race at Kyoto Oval with FXR has been an unchanged feature of AWS through all 12 previous seasons,so also in the 13th one AWS racers will have to cooperate with teammates or rivals for better racing pace. With plenty of titles and awards at stake, the Winter 200 might be yet another nailbiter!
I recall Fanaleds application was claiming to support the LEDs,I tried once, did not work so I gave up quickly as it wasn't too important for me. Try your luck and report back for success or failure: https://www.fanaleds.com/

Reason : Added car names to drivers
Just like many others and that's the reason why these cars will be used EXCLUSIVELLY only in cruise servers - no self respecting race organizer will ever select them for an event.

Sunday,3rd March
18:30 UTC / 19:30 CET / 20:30 EET
3rd and last cross race of this season will be held this sunday in Fern Bay. The rallycross track is well known, however the car is new - in RGE hosted races it has seen only Rockingham, this sunday the Chorus Attendanze will be made dirty on a rallycross circuit. 660cc engine delivers just 63 horsepower,so the car will not accelerate quickly, however with 740kg weight it can go through turns quite fast - the tyres might support the car much longer than previously used cars in this track. Regarding track limits - since it's rallycross, the running wide exiting turn 1 and entering turn 2 will be tolerated!
Championship situation has been spiced up slightly after previous round, however the gap between standings leader and closest rival is still more than half of max possible points,so this round will surely decide how much intrigue will be left for season finale. Similar situation is in teams championship, however the nations cup has a potential to be decided after this round.
LFS has 3 real world cars in it's inventory, which have been used in RTFR plenty of times, however the difficulties to obtain licence hinders to have proper replicas of real world cars made by users. But there are few and yesterday we were racing one of those,a car from 70ies made in (back then) Czechoslovakia - Škoda 110 L. Since the original delivers rather low power, the rally version was selected as it delivers near LFS GTi class performance and is equipped with road super tyres. Still the lack of locking differentials, the engine placement at the rear and lack of rear antiroll bar made it's handling rather specific, not everyone was able to adapt to it and whoever could do better than others, were on top of the game.
Winner of 2 out of 3 RTFR 2024 season 1 races M made it 3 out of 4 - he had a setback on lap 1 as he lost the lead to fellow front row starter, however he recovered and after few tries finally returned to race lead for the last 7 laps of 19 to cross finish line first once again. That was the lithuanian's 5th RTFR race win - he is the 23rd driver in event's history to score 5 or more, five is also his pole positions count after this race, while the fastest lap of the race is his 4th and top5 finish - his 17th. Additionally he rounded up fastest laps count for Lithuania to 30 (4th most between all countries). The defending standings winner R.Kardol was the only one to challenge winner of this race - he led 12 laps from the start until losing lead,at the end he had to settle for 2nd place finish with 2 seconds gap, which is his 88th top5 finish. Another B2R member Loco took the remaining position on the virtual podium - 3rd in both sessions is a repeat of his personal best achievements. To make 3 out of 4 best consisting of B2R members,Ayoub Maroc finished 4th,which is his 14th top5 finish,top5 was closed by Adam scoring his 5th top5 finish, while his 4th place in qualifying was an improvement by a single position compared to his previous best result.

RTFR will now take 2 weeks break before returning with a slick tyre car, which and where - hints can be heard in the most recent broadcast. Next week server belongs to RandomCar - the cars rich series will host it's 2nd round of the season in Rockingham. Full info as always will be posted in sunday and car draws will begin on monday. Next RTFR XL will be the 5th race in Aston in the latest 9 races overall - seems like the environment is being very popular with drivers. The selected car is LFS's own RWD medium performance base car XRT.
RGE's racing action this week is not over yet - this sunday AWS will bring the slowest car in it's history to Fern Bay,which will be run in the rallycross circuit. As it is the penultimate round of the season,it will be the last chance for outsiders to qualify themselves for season finale in Kyoto as the rules permit only drivers with at least 1 point scored to take part in last round. Full info and signups as always in AWS forum section.
Tomorrow we gonna bring this old thing for a spin in Fern Bay:
In case interested, feel free to join - full info: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/107304-327th-RTFR
Livestream by SimBroadcasts.tv starts 18:50 UTC (link in info thread).
Attached also RTFR promo skin,in case someone likes to add more colors to this car.
I cannot answer for LFS developers, but I assume that because they are based in Europe - from quick research I found out that pix is based in Brazil and can be used only there, which makes it pretty much useless for private business in Europe.
A reminder - server will be password protected 1 hour before qualifying start to keep not knowing crowded server jumpers out of way, pass will be always the same: green
Some historic stats:
Last race won by: S1DUS*GáboR
Last SKODA 110 L RALLYE race won by: 1st race with this car
Last Fern Bay race won by: S1DUS*R.Kardol (317th RTFR - DORITO FD7 @ FE Green Alternative RGE)
Most Fern Bay gold configs race wins: 13 races,13 different winners (Finland - 4 wins)
Current rating leader: S1DUS*R.Kardol (+4 points)
* PENALTIES :
RGˆNOSLE - receives 60 seconds penalty added to his finish time for failure to serve the mandatory pitstop. The penalty results in loss of last completed lap.
[GD] WOw! - receives 14.48 seconds penalty added to his finish time for minimum pit time violation.
TAV-Rubi - the unserved drive-through penalty is converted in 30 seconds penalty added to his finish time as per standard LFS rules.

The 2nd GT3 class car this year between both RTFR versions was much cleaner than the first one tried in 1st scored standings race of normal RTFR - no mass crashes, just few incidents here and there, where drivers left without actual complains. Of course a race more than twice as long alone was a motivation to take care about early phase. With 37 actual qualifyers, this was the most attended RTFR XL race in almost 2 years, however the atrition rate was quite high as only 24 drivers reached the finish line with 1 additional driver classified in results.
What did not change between these 2 mentioned GT3 races was the winner - also yesterday driver with single letter name M dominated the race by starting from pole position, leading all laps, setting fastest lap of the race and completing the race distance first. It was M's 3rd RTFR XL race win (10th driver with 3 or more wins),5th pole position,2nd fastest lap of the race and 7th top5 finish from 10 race starts, while during the race he became the 12th driver to lead more than 100 laps in RTFR XL races. Despite taking all the achievements, his advantage in finish was everything else but dominating - just over 3 seconds behind was the 6-time RTFR XL race winner True Alpha, who started from 10th position, who knows how the race would progress for him with better effort in qualifying (in race he beat his qualifying laptime by more than 1 second, which would secure him 3rd position on grid),the 2nd place finish is finn's 16th top5 finish. Rest of the field was left behind significantly more - 3rd place finisher Leo was already 25 seconds apart leader, the argentinian improved his previous best qualifying result by a single position to 3rd,while the 3rd place finish is his 2nd top5 finish - that's half of all argentinian top5 finishes. The 2023 standings winner and RTFR XL most successful racer R.Kardol was rather left out in this race - he finished 4th with 41 seconds gap to score his 46th top5 finish,top5 was closed by Ayoub Maroc, who scored his 7th top5 finish.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Last 6 races were won by drivers from 5 different countries - only the finn True Alpha is the repeated winner. Interestingly only the same 5 countries have been represented in victory lane for past 20 races,a croatian driver being the last from other country.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Once again T.Soini being mentioned here - he had the shortest legal pitstop of 13.37 seconds, where he changed tyres and refuelled the car.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
B.Botev did not qualify for this race, however being known experienced with this car,he was allowed to start - from back of the grid driver has best chances to gain most positions and the bulgarian gained 27 in this race to finish 8th. 2nd best field rusher gained less than a half of that number.
VOD at Youtube:
There are not many cars with engine placed behind rear axle - the recently driven Protech is one of those, coincidentally next week we will race another one in the next normal RTFR. Which and where exactly will be announced this sunday. Which car and where will be run in next RTFR XL in 4 weeks is still known - the winner of this race has not casted his decision,he has still time until next tuesday for that.

Reason : Senor Agustin Ipsale - thank you so much for sneaking in 2 names in qual results! I'm so glad to rework results and stats of half of others I already done because I have nothing else to do. Jackass!
Round 5 of the season brought back one of the standard cars of LFS - the street legal RB4,which was raced on the streets of Westhill, well, mostly - part of the track led on actual Westhill circuit, part of it used pitlane and another part the parking lot behind garages. The narrow track does not offer a lot of overtaking opportunities, the racers however still found some as for several laps early in the race, there was a train of cars close to each other and even trading places before the drivers finally settled in each in own pace.
Unite had already 3 pole positions in AWS before this season, this sunday he scored the 4th one as he was almost half a second faster in qualifying. Also the fastest lap in race he set was already his 3rd,however crossing the finish line as race winner was the finns first ever - he led a total of 20 of race's 22 laps to reserve the place in the middle of podium photo for the 1st time in this league. Main championship race chaser was in the same position also in this round - Thehemuli was 2nd best through the whole round and even managed to lead 2 laps during the race, scoring his best result of the season. Trespasser worked hard for 2nd place finish, however the effort was not good enough and he finished 3rd,taking 2nd podium finish in 2 attended races this season.
Championship standings leader Sobis finished just 6th,losing 6 points from his advantage over Thehemuli - the new gap is 13 points between top2,Lorenzo is still 3rd,he reduced his deficite to table lead by just a single point to 18 points. These 3 are considered as main contenders for title, however if something goes wrong, other 2 could join the chase, while top11 are still mathematically in the race for title.
Only 1 of the 3 best rookies attended in this round and he even took over the lead in the standings - S.Martin is now 3 points ahead of RD2,Stiefla has now 15 points gap to leader. In theory still anyone (even a new signup) is still eligible for this award, however that would require 2 wins in remaining 2 rounds and failure of current leaders.
The defending teams champions RGA extended their lead in table by 2 points and now are 21 points ahead of WCL,while LLM is still 3rd,but already 40 points behind leaders,2 other teams are still have theoretical chances for the award, but realistically they can only challenge for last step on podium. Nations standings however returned exactly where it was after 3rd round as Finland and Lithuania scored exactly same points count as round before, just swapped the counts between themselves - the defending champions Finland returned to 47 points gap over Lithuania, while no other nation can even mathematically mix in the race for the award. Italy is currently best of the rest in 3rd position with 60 points scored and 99 points gap to leaders.
Next round will go into LFS history as the slowest league rallycross race with an AWD car - the Chorus Attendanze features a 660cc engine, which reaches just 63 horsepower. But since it weights just 740kg,it's fairly quick through turns even with relativelly narrow tyres - which should not be as big problem as it used to be with more powerful cars. The venue is Fern Bay's original rallycross circuit, which is just over 2km long and is expected to be completed under 1 minute and 23 seconds. The unknown combo surely can still provide some changes in the standings before season finale, also it will be the 3rd and last round for the Cross challenge award, which is led by current overall standings leader.
